I have to say I was never really on board the JJ appreciation society.  The Hard Knocks episode where he was working after all others had gone seemed staged for the cameras and I just never got past seeing him as some kind of hyper-talented frat boy who wouldn't leave my quarterback alone!

 

Fair play to him on this though, doing his utmost to make a difference and not just using his fame but actually getting involved with the efforts himself.

Yep...even Trump donated a million...not to be political but that's a very nice personal gesture.

 

I will say JJ has quite a personality and camera presence...I think he may be the next Howie Long....Broken Arrow 2 FTW!!

I wished all 32 owners donated 1 million when disasters like Harvey and Katrina happen. Better yet, every owner in major American professional sports. Pipe dream.... I know.

I just saw a pic on line of a nursing home with old ladies sitting in waste deep flood water doing needle point like absolutely nothing is wrong. It is as incredible as it is amazing.
