Scooby Wright waived by Browns

Will revert to practice squad if he clears waivers. I don't know much about him just know his name popped up on this forum during the draft as a possible target to get.

He was popular because he has a catchy name and because he plays his butt off, but his film isn't good. Not even a Max Bullough, Chris Borland kind of prospect, who you know is slow but can still make plays.

When a team as starved for talent as the Browns releases him, it doesn't bode well.  Not only that, but he was taken 250th overall, so he isn't as good as he's been hyped

I agree, but it is the browns, they just got fleeced by the Pats again for Mingo who, under the right coaching, can be better. I mean the Browns had the chance to sign Edelman and didn't then he became one of the best slot receivers in the league.

Browns had 14 draft picks this year, Wright was #14, too many players. Wright was defensive player of year in 2014, and Colts could use a high motor player. Looks to have completely healed from injury from Sept 2015, and Colts management has horrible track record with their own picks. Tho guy should have gone in 4th or 5th round....
