SI 2016 FA Predictions - we get 1 VG one

Recommended Posts

At first I was like who the heck is VG 1? LOL. But anyway I gotcha now BBZ. But I'd say we get 2 very good players here. We'd still need to sign a CB or an EDGE guy, but Jeff Allen is probably the 2nd best guard available, and I think he's going to be a beast wherever he signs. He was really, really good last season. Damon Harrison along with a good number 2 CB, and a EDGE rusher or 2 in the draft could drastically change our D.

Those two and a Solid FA corner would raise our GM`s love hear a bit! :scoregood::panic:

PFF sure likes Allen. So i`m buying the bump to VG player, and he has RT versatility!!
A nice piece about Allen. http://www.kansascity.com/sports/nfl/kansas-city-chiefs/article51820130.html

I don't think Alex Mack will re-sign back to The Dump .....I mean the Browns. I think we will have a legit shot at him and I'd take it. He did say he thought Cleveland was headed in the right direction with the Hue Jackson hire and the new front office structure but they are still a ways away and have been since they drafted Mack

Mack will opt out and try to get more money from whoever. He's all about the money.  Harrison and Allen would be great pickups.  I would be very happy with that. We should be able to get a starting center in rd.2  I still think we sign Allen.  He should be cheaper than Fleener enabling us to get Harrison. Rd. 1 BPA in a position of need.

Allen has more than RT versatility he had won the RT job in KC was injured in the preseason slid back in at RG when he was healthy. I think he could win either spot on the right side of our OL. He would be one of Grigs best signings. I would love to get him.

Harrison I don't get. He's going to cost and there are talented NT in the draft. I would take the money we would use on him and go sign Trumaine Johnson CB and Davis C then bring in a RB like Bilan Powell. That would be a solid FA group. It would also allow us to focus on D in the draft.  I'd like to see Billings in the 1st that kid is going to be a beast. We need edge rusher for sure, reallly help all over. We could take a big step building the D this year.

    • Colts would still be in Baltimore if they build them a new stadium, but no.After the colts are gone Baltimore builds a new stadium and takes Cleveland's football team. Should of kept the Colts to begin with.
    • To be clear…. There has not been a suspension for a second violation.  This suspension is for the original incident which happened three weeks ago, back on April 17.   I think Doyel issued two apologies.  One that night and the other the next day.  Honestly, as awkward and clumsy as it was, I thought Doyle actually meant well.     I dislike Doyel as much as anyone.  But I think this is a bit of overkill.  I don’t think it comes from the Indy Star.  The newspaper is now owned by Gannett which owns USA Today.  Corporate wheels move very slowly.  I wish this had blown over.    If I had thought for a moment that Doyel was being a jerk or a bad guy in any way I wouldn’t mind someone dropping the hammer on him.  This all feels a bit much, but life is often unfair.     Ok…. I’ve defended Greg Doyel.  I’ll go take a shower now.
    • I wonder if Pierce might be used more instead of just being a deep threat?
    • I'm watching an NBA game for the first time in at least 5 years. I don't know any of the players but Turner looks familiar.    My brother is right. They are playing a lot faster than what I remember in the past. It is a lot more fun.   Maybe I don't remember but it seems that the refs are not calling Traveling as much as they used to. Is that right? They are letting the guys play. It is much more fun to watch.
