Joe Philbin signed as OL coach

Long time lurker, first time poster...but wanted to chime in briefly with regard to Philbin.  It seems as though a lot of ppl are referencing Hard Knocks as a representation of who Philbin is as a person/coach.  Didn't his son get killed in a terrible accident before he took the HC job in Miami?  Pretty sure it was January during while GB was playing in the playoffs the year before. I think that plays a role in how he appeared/is perceived in some of his decision making in Miami, especially on Hard Knocks.  I know it wrecked me when I lost a parent suddenly, can't imagine a child...

 

Either way, I'm rooting for him to succeed here in Indy.  Go Colts!
