Game Shifting Play Tonight?

I know we played great as a team for all 4 quarters but I'm curious to what play made you guys believe that we had a good chance to win.

I'm gonna have to go with Newsome's strip sack.

On the flipside, I was scared that CJ Anderson's 4th and 1 conversion (breaking 3 tackles) was going to turn the tides the other direction.

Yeah, that Fleener catch was the game shifting play. 3rd and 16 If I'm not mistaken. Crowd got loud and Broncos D had some momentum.

Fleener's catch was big but the Newsome strip sack followed by the Touchdown that gave us the lead made me think that was the break we needed and we capitalized.

He re aggregated whatever he did to his shoulder, went to the sidelines and brushed trainers away in favor of gutting it out.

That set the tone for the rest of the game, IMO

I don't know if I can pick one play. All mentioned are all good. Maybe the fumble-down call on Cribbs was as an impact play that needed mentioning.

I'm the only to think this but. ... On a 3rd&4 Peyton rolled right with a good 20 yds of green in front of him and he decided to throw incomplete to Sanders forcing a 3 and out early in the 3rd qt..

That was one heckuva throw and a very good catch.  Very huge play!

I was so mad at Art Jones when he got that roughing the passer on 3rd down on the first drive where they went on to score instead of punt.  However, after seeing Peyton on the 2nd drive, I txted my buddy "The Art Jones penalty will pay off, you can see Peyton's really struggling with his legs."  --I could be wrong, but I think Peyton has been bothered by injuries in both his legs more than he is letting on the past few weeks, and as the announcers said, with his neck/shoulder problems he may rely on his legs to get accuracy and power behind his throws more than any QB in the league.  I could also be wrong, but I think Art Jones' hit on him either aggravated something or put some fear into Peyton -- he looked very sharp the rest of that first drive, but after he had to sit down he was not the same QB for the rest of the game.

Nicks made a huge catch earlier in the game, too.  I think it was a 2nd and 8 in the first quarter and he got 9 or 10 yards on the play.  We wound up punting that drive, but Nicks has been showing why we were so excited about signing him the past few weeks. Hopefully he keeps it up.  He has tremendous hands and seems to be getting in sync with Andrew.
