they could throw the farm at some guys, depending on franchise designations (HELLLO Jimmy Graham)

But guys like Jared Allen, Orakpo, Vonte, Jennings, Tillman just on defense could really help them out. And there are others.

What about Jay Cutler? MJD, Nicks, Maclin could all probably be had as well....and this is without getting into OL.

They have a shot at spending a nice chunck of change, on not ness superstars, but they can assemble a pretty nice little cast of players without having to break the bank, and be much better off than they are right now.

Their elite tackle (jared veldheer) is coming off an injury this year (activated today though), and hopefully they let him walk, so we can get him cheaper. I want both mack and veldheer on our line next year. I'm all for demoting or trading anthony and dumping samson in the trash heap.

    • Our D Lineman and our LB's are getting blasted and pushed out of the way. This is why teams are running all over us
    • I've liked Nick Cross since before he was drafted.  I thought folks here have been impatient and quick, go figure.
    • I remember Donnell Thompson. He was a Tar Heel star player which was elite but he played on a bad team. No offense and defense, and no coaching and supporting players. Those were the days that it was difficult to be a Colt.
    • You really have to wonder how many times we let teams run all over us before Ballard stops loving Bradley
    • What we've seen so far isn't so surprising. Nick Cross was rated as the Colts #1 run defender last season with an 81.2 grade. It was his pass coverage that wasn't so good at 63.2.    Run Defense - 2023 S Nick Cross 81.2 DE Samson Ebukam 80.0 LB E.J.
