Vikings won the Harvin trade

Harvin might be a playmaker but he is also a huge

liability. Don't rule out his history of injuries either. If the Vikings get solid talent with both of their 1st rounders then expect great things again from the purple people eaters.

not to mention he seemed to be a complete pain in the you know what to the franchise

Well, he did have a high ankle sprain last season, but that's the only real injury he's suffered that I know of.  It's not like he missed a lot of games in the years prior to his ankle sprain.  He's a pretty durable player seeing as how he's so physical on the field.

wait wait wait... I thought of one... Jerome Simpson lol

but he is certainly not a #1.  Chances are they will have to use that 1st round pick they got on a WR who won't turn out to be as good as Harvin.

  • 2 weeks later...

That trade was basically a win-win situation...

Seattle got a playmaker thatll fit in better with Carrolls attitude & Vikings gave up a headache & got some draft picks to re-up on talent

This. Basically Min. got Jennings and 1st rd, late rd this year and a middle next for what they would have had to resign Harvin too. Considering he has never been happy there...this is great for them....and Seattle got their playmaker on offense. I lean more towards Minny winning but there is no denying Harvin is more of a difference maker than Jennings.
