I think it'll be Freeman and Angerer taking the majority of the snaps eventually. Pat's going to come off the bench this week to get back into game shape and get some live game time in the system, which I have no problem with.

I wouldn't be surprised if Connor might be moved to OLB because of Freeney's injury and Hickman's inexperience.

Freeman & Angerer are good tacklers and having good tacklers inside, that should help the run defense.

Im pretty sure they've announced that Freeman will be the other guy, and that Conner will have a more situational role (so a diminished role for him).

I think its safe to say Freeman but for this week Angerer will not start. He will play but the colts want to be safe and smart with Angerer.

could it be feasable to see a line up on Sunday with Angerer, Freeman, Conners, Freeney and Hughs on the field at the same time. I'm thinking this could work on obvious running downs with Angerer, Freeman, or Conners playing a safety/linebacker role.

DT and NG are he glaring weaknesses. Depth is so poor.

I prefer Mario Harvey or Fokou over Conner, Harvey doesn't have very good ability to cover but in Conners role he would not be asked to do that alot in my opinion and should not be asked to do that(you play to your players strengths), Harvey is 5'11" 264LBS, you want an intimidating presence at ILB Harvey is capable, Conner is ok but doesn't pack a consistent punch, Fokou as well can be a run stuffer. I'd at least try rotating Angerer in and out with either Harvey of Fokou for the time being. Conner is ok just not the thumper and run stuffer we need, Have Freeman and Harvey or Fokou in on 1st and 2nd down and Freeman and Angerer in on 3rd down
