i was watching the vikings game and i was really watching there D .

Chad Greenway had a really hard time covering Marcedes Lewis 5-56 yards 1TD(plus lewis was open on alot more plays)

i think allen and fleener can do just as good or even better against this D

if luck looks at both allen and fleener the hole game he and his TE will have a great game

i think this will be another heavy passing game for luck with more TDs and less INTs

Hopefully Allen will be catching a few instead of blocking mostly. I want to see my favorite TE go to work

This just helps show why Allen is sooo valuable. He did a good job blocking...even on those good run plays. I would love to see him out in routes but for now he is worth his weight in gold blocking for Luck. Fleener played well and without Allen he would have had to stay in and protect. Allen does all the dirty work and did it well. The good thing is teams may be counting on him blocking a lot and hopefully he will get to slip out on a few routes and throw another wrinkle into the offense.

I hope so. We drafted him as a TE, not a Right Tackle 2.0 :(

He was drafted as a H back, jack of all trades. Half fullback, half Tightend, all football player. The type of player Chris Collinsworth would simply state as " now that guy is just a football player!"

Ok, we seen the Fullback/Blocker. Now I want to see the Tightend/WR

I'm sorry but you may never see that. That's Fleeners role. A 2-6 passes a game to Allen might be it. You'll probably see him making his plays when it matters, like a short 3rd down pass or you might see him become a red zone threat. Don't expect him to take over the offense though.

You play Madden right? Look through the playbook and find me plays where Allen has a long route. He doesn't have many because he's not particularly fast but has good hands and can bust through tackles. That skill set is perfect for short yardage situations.

I don't expect Long passes. But the passes he had at Clemson. Line up in the backfield then run to the Flats or something.

And no, I don't have Madden 13. They said it was a Fail

Allen and Fleener ARE TE's. I am eager to see them go out on and make names for themselves. Fleener's 80 yards are a good start.

Your right, Allen is certainly a *traditional*TE. TEs like Fleener, Dallas Clark, Gronk are the new TE ( tall receivers )

First, who's they? The same people who've been waiting for 2K to comeback for several years? This years Madden is actually different, new engine and everything.

Ok back to Allen, he's got the same kind of plays here but he's not going to be looked at early into progression unless it's the right situation(redone, 3rd and short, and sometimes on blitz plays if he isn't blocking) At Clemson, did they have a elite, vet WR, a all-American slot receiver, and another TE thats more of a WR than Allen? I'm guess they didn't and Allen was higher in the food chain.

Look at this way, in every great play you see this year, Allen will probably have something to do with it.

P.s. Id like to see him run out of the RB spot a few times in a jumbo formation.

Sammy Watkins & Hopkins were the Top 2 WR's. Good RB, & A Good QB. But the way they used Allen was why he was such a Success.

And they as in gamestop ratings. It got a 5.6 out of 10

So the play book was still centered around Allen and was still their best player, he's not the best player on the team anymore.

I read many of the gamestop reviews on Madden 13, many rated the actual gameplay very well. Most seemed to be hung up on little things like not being able to take a create player into connected careers or some people rated it poorly on falsehoods, claiming franchise mode was nowhere in the game( obviously they never even played it since its in connected careers if your a coach)

I'm one of those players who likes to import my player from NCAA & play my own career through Franchise more. But they took that out too. I don't wanna use freeney or anyone. I like to use my player

Yeah I'm not sure why they wanted to control the connected careers roster so much. It's pretty much the disc's default roster or the latest roster updated specifically for connected careers. Down the line, I guess we will see differences between online roster and updated connected careers roster. That's just odd.

Also they probably didn't care for people sticking with 1 madden for 2 years because of importing rosters from NCAA. Their goal there was to have a neat feature between the 2 titles but then realized it will cost them sales in the long run.

Idk, I made my decision not to get it. I'll stick to Madden 12

The AI D is a lot smarter now, if a guy isn't open, you can't throw it. I like the realism.

I'm just not a Fan of the Engine. Yeah, it makes it realistic (to a certain extent) but that Bodies falling everywhere animations have cost me some big plays in the demo. So I know it'll happen in the game. If I do get madden, it'll be around Black Friday or Christmas time

    • Most of us are underpaid, difference is we move on and deal with it and barely can enjoy life. Imagine if Pat Mahome's and his wife and kids had to live paycheck to paycheck, that would be funny to see, even for 3 months
    • You have a good heart because unfortunately money rules the world. Without it, you can't do anything or live nice. I am just talking live halfway nice, nothing mind popping like buying 3 cars and a half million-dollar house. Just live in a 200,000 house (good neighborhood) and have a nice car and be able to take a Vacation once a year type of money is what I mean. To your point, being a good person with good morals is super important though . I try to treat people well and help people as much as I can.
    • Fun fact: Smith took Mike Tyson the distance, only 1 of 2 fighters to do that when Mike was Champ from 1986-1989. Tony Tucker was the other.
    • I have seen a few clips of Creed 2 on Youtube but never have watched the whole movie. I seen where Drago is in it. I thought Creed 1 was kind of average but I grew up with the Rocky movies with Rocky fighting. As far as the fights between Rocky and Clubber being short, that was fine because there were 2 of them. The way I would rank the Rocky movies would be: 1. Rocky 3 - had more action than any of them and the Creed twist was shocking. Back then there was no internet or teasers, so nobody had no idea that Creed would train Rocky. Mr T was by far the baddest villain of them all. He made people want to hate him. Hulk Hogan was even it who Rocky fought for charity  . Mick even passed away, it all kinds of twists and turns.   2. Rocky 1 - the 1st one because of the storyline. He also went the distance with GOAT = Apollo, nobody ever done that.   3. Rocky 2 - had the best fight, so I can see how that would be #1 in many eyes. That was my mom's favorite because of Adrian coming out of the coma and telling Rocky to win and the fight was the best of the whole series.   4. Rocky 4 - This one was good but not great. They could have made this much better to where it could of been the best of the series. It was kind of unrealistic because no way in real life would Apollo get killed in 2 rounds. The fight between Apollo and Drago should have at least gone 7 or 8 rounds and just show Apollo taking a beating. 2 Rounds = no way. #2, they made Drago out to be like a superhero, Rocky already beat Clubber who was just as strong, so I didn't care for the storyline. The training scenes by Rocky and Drago and the music is what saved that one from being average.
    • I hope we keep Toppin, I didn't think we would. Paul George went to Philly for 4 years/212 Mill, so now we have them to deal with as well besides Boston, NY, and Milwaukee. I thought we were better than Philly before the George deal, not sure now.
