Like one blog says, the 2012 NFL class players have not signed. But we need to be patient. As hopefully we need to let it all play out. As just let it play out. Colts are in the beginning of a new era. And that it does take time. Just be patient.
Well I was out of the net for a while, then come back to find a whole new site! Boy did I miss the boat. I'm so glad I checked! So I have a question, who is camping out in Anderson?? I'm going to fly in on 7/29-7/31 and I was wondering if I should get a hotel room or camp out. Could someone direct me to the folks who will be camping out??
No longer COLTS related... but, Peyton's the proud new owner of a 4.5 mil 7 bathroom sprawling home ( with elevator) right outside Denver. One local fans comment comes to mind " Why does he need 7 bathrooms, he only has 1---- ". Good Luck to you # 18. We wish you the best.
A little more than two weeks, the London 2012 Games will start. I love the Olympics. As they alternate it once every two years. Not both once every four years. So that we won't have to wait. Thank goodness. Love the Winter games but love the summer games all in the same. Anybody going to watch?!
Colts Owner Jim Irsay set the Twitterverse streaming again this week. But this time it wasn’t his song lyrics, contests, or somewhat controversial musings that set the stage. Rather, it was his team’s reaction to the NFL’s new 85% rule regarding blackouts for home games. The new rule allows local teams to televise games that are 85% sold out (with a per seat penalty). The Colts said thanks…but no thanks. Meaning, if Lucas Oil Stadium is not completely sold out, the game will not be televised
As some of you may have read; Friday, June 29th was my mother’s 91st birthday. The only thing she wanted for her birthday was rain. She got her wish and we did receive 8/10 of an inch of rain that day, but paid a heavy price for the rain. That afternoon, the sky started to look rather ominous; so I turned on my TV to a local radar channel and saw a storm heading our way. This time it didn’t look like it would miss us as it has done so frequently the past few weeks and I was so excited. Fin
I love the boys on the NFL network, don't always agree with them. Their projection... Luck will throw 22 or more INT'S this year, ( seeing how he has no talent around him). Well , boys you are entitled to your opinion, I am also entitled to mine. Luck threw 10 INT'S in 2011. Yeah, yeah, it's his first year in the Big Leagues... talent around him, give the COLTS some credit . Last time I checked we had a pretty great line up of WR;s and RB'S. I look forward to serving up a nice plate of " EA
On June 8th in 1933 George P Marshall and George Halas pushed through a proposal that divided the NFL into 2 divisions, with the winners to meet in an annual championship game.
Some of you may love em, other's not so much. They took the field you cheered. They set up the plays that won the game: BROADWAY Joe "Namath" , commercials, and kisses from the honey's Terry the " BLOND BOMBER" Bradshaw, some thought " not so smart" warrior, you bet. Aaron " BELTULA" Rodgers: the back up that really made a LEAP at LAMBEAU . Special COLTS fan favorite: TOM TERRIFIC BRADY, aka , CALIFORNIA COOL 5th round draft pick, guess he rose to the occasion. Enter # 5 on the list of NUMB
Hope you all have a safe and a grand July 4th. With lots of fireworks. Well may need to lay off the fireworks a bit, tisk, tisk! But still have a great one with a BBQ and all of that. Take care and have a great one!
Posted by coltsindianapolis on June 22, 2012 – 8:00 am Colts.com regularly features blogs written by one of our fans. This post was submitted by divineprodigy The Colts running game hasn’t given any opposing defenses any nightmares since the haydays of Edgerrin James. Ever since his departure, the team has relied on 90% of the arm and brain power of Peyton Manning, and 10% of “running back by committee.” Enter 4th year RB Donald Brown. According to the critics, Brown has been deemed a “bust”
Can you all believe it is July? As it is so hot. And that it is like you are burning up? Really the months go by fast. Hope you all have a safe July! Be cool as well. During this tough heat!
How soon they forget.... last 5 year trend : wins: 13,12, 14, 10, 2. Post season appearances: 4. Now all we hear is 2 - 14, scoring rank: 15.2 avg for 28th in the league, Total yards: 286.8 Rank 30th, Rushing : 99.6 Avg: 26th in League, Passing avg: 187.2 : 27th in league, 3rd down % 34.6 Rank 23rd. Defense, we won't go there. Everything we do is gauged on our last performance, in sports, and, in life. Latest reports say: Luck takes over a " Cobbled together team" with only one friendly face.
I have not had Japanese food in three months or over. Will try to get some. When my parents are out of town. As I love that kind of food. Though don't get it as much! But will try to get some for lunch. As the food is expensive during the dinner hours.
To my friends who have been requesting this blog for a while now, I do apologize. You know how life runs away with you sometimes? These past four weeks has done that for me! So, per your requests, I am going to do my best to share my Colorado experience…hopefully you’ll walk (or click) away with a good idea of what my vacation in the Rockies was like. ... ... ... Thirty-six days ago I set out on a trip, an adventure of sorts. Some would have chosen to fly to their destination, but did I? N
CB: Powers-J.King-Vaughn-Rucker-Johnson-Thomas Powers is the only proven big time talent in this group, King and Vaughn were good additions adding some much needed experience, the hope is that the other 3 will all take it up a notch, benefitting from the reps they got last year. S: Bethea-Zbikowski-Lefeged-Caldwell-Hines Bethea has been the glue in the secondary for years and is one of the leagues best, Zbikowski will quickly become a fan favorite and a solid player, The 2 young guys have looked
Don't know if this really works, going to set up today and check it out. Was forwarded to me by my father and wanted to share for what it might be worth, ZIP LOCK BAG - Good tip! "]We went with friends to a restaurant on Sunday for lunch and sat in the patio section beside the store. We happened to notice zip lock baggies pinned to a post and a wall. The bags were half filled with water, each contained 4 pennies, and they were zipped shut. Naturally we were curious! The owner told us that

DE: Redding-Nevis-Moala-Mathews-Ogbu Redding provides some much needed experience in this defense, but isn't exactly entering his prime, the rest are all DT's playing DE, Nevis looked good last year, when healthy. Not much depth here, don't think Ogbu is a good fit for DE NT: Chapman-Johnson-McKinney Johnson will probably start out the year and eventually backup Chapman, McKinney is a huge body with experience in this defense. Johnson might be a better fit at at DE, not alot of depth here either
When the offseason began I kept an open mind to the tough decisions and moves the Colts were making. All the Andrew Luck talk kind of stung a little bit because of the man he would be replacing, Peyton Manning, in my mind and many others the greatest QB to ever play the game. But as it is playing out and the direction things are headed its easy to understand why Jim Irsay in particular was so high on this kid, enough so to decide to move on from such a great ride this past decade. If anything an
Would love to hear if anybody is going to training camp? Wished that I was as I live in Seymour TN. And can't afford to go. But would love to hear if anybody is going. Sure a lot of people are going. Plus bring lots of water and get cooled off a bit so you won't suffer from dehydration!
It's LeBron being LeBron. I have never been a fan of his for many reasons. He looks like a decent family man and takes great care of his kids + has never been in trouble with the law so I respect him for that - he is also a Great Basketball player, best today. Having said that his ego is outrageous, he left Cleveland in his prime because he couldn't win a Championship. Peyton Manning for example never thought about leaving Indy because he couldn't win for years against the Pats and Steelers in
Yes, that is a fair point some individuals just like to stir the pot & cause controversy & mayhem simply because their life has not turned out as well as they wish it had. Like it's somebody's else's fault that they don't make enough money or have a pretty girlfriend or any girlfriend for that matter.
Look, I'm not trying to minimize any fatality white, black, male, or female & I know that being a police officer is not an easy job. I get that. I just wanna get to an atmo
I am getting ready to get off work so I will have to respond to your Post tomorrow in more detail but all great points. Racism will probably never go away unfortunately as there are just people in this world that are ignorant and violent. I am not sure how anyone can solve some of the violence talking place. It just seems to get worse and worse with groups of people getting shot in night clubs, theaters, etc. for no reason. White cops aren't doing themselves any favors either by shooting unarmed
Thank you CBE for your response to my blog entry. I know how busy peoples daily lives are so I am grateful for feedback & different points of view on this subject matter.
Max Kellerman on ESPN 'First Take' has made the intriguing argument that in America anyway the Natl. Anthem standing up during it is a mandatory gesture of compliance as opposed to a voluntary one where dissent is frowned upon & even called out publicly if you refuse to stand up while the Star Spangled Bann
Here's my short take on Colin and what is going on: I have no problem with people protesting about something they believe in or serious matters like racism, that is everyone's right to do so. Where I have the problem is dissing the American flag. It doesn't accomplish anything and it really gets many people to dislike you and question why you are doing that. To me it's dissing the Military and the USA when you don't acknowledge the flag. All you are doing is drawing negative attention to yoursel
I hope you're hanging in there brother as well as can be expected given such heart wrenching circumstances. Miss you man. I'm here if you need me. God bless, my friend.
YSGC,
Thank you for being brave enough to share such personal information about the loss of your beloved father. That took a tremendous amount of courage on your part.
Naturally, that void in your life will never be filled of course, but this line made me smile:
"He insisted we bury him in his Colts gear" Awesome!
When are people going to realize that the offensive line talent in last year's draft, outside of La'ell Collins, just wasn't that good? Sure we could've used a couple of picks on some mediocre o-line talent, and people would be right here, with their 20/20 hindsight, saying that they were terrible picks, and that Grigson should be fired.
Instead, we took a WR. People didn't like the pick, as the Colts allegedly were already "stacked at WR." Well, fast forward to this year: Johnson is
