In the next week or so, we expect to upgrade our site. You'll still have all the functionality you like, there will be improvements.
The content editor will be better and faster
Mobile browsing will be better and faster
You will be able to mention somebody in a post (for example type @nadine) and that person will receive notification.
You'll be able to quote just a portion of a post, rather than the whole post (you'll still be able to quote the whole post as usual as well).
So, you either had something that you just had to post or for some reason, you decided today was the day you stopped and started posting.
Whatever the reason, welcome! We're glad you're here.
It can be a bit confusing getting started on any web site.
Breath deep, it's not as hard as it looks and most everyone here will help you out.

It’s OK to lurk, in fact use this time after making a screen name to look around and familiarize yourself with all the areas a forum offers.

We are modifying our moderation rules for game time, in response to your feedback.
We will NOT be creating the post game threads. Posters can create post game threads......but please, clearly title them and do not create duplicate topics.
We WILL continue to lock game time discussions that are created or are occurring anywhere but in the game day thread.
If you are not familiar with our game day forum, it is here: http://forums.colts.com/forum/14-colts-game-day/

Nobody likes to be condescended to. Being on the receiving end of patronizing and belittling comments is annoying and frustrating and can be a cause of conflict between members here on the forums.
Technically this is not against the rules but, if it is persistent and causes ongoing issues then moderation may have to step in.
However, we think it's important that the people posting make every effort to resolve their own conflicts.
Some things to think about.........
(1) Am I condescending? (D
From time to time, you need to clear your browser cache. This happens here on the forums as well as on other sites such as facebook.
In fact, if you notice a site not working the way that it should, chances are the issue is on your end (your browser cache) and in order to get the site working for you again, you need to clear your browser cache.
How you do that varies a bit, depending on which browser you use. I've created videos on home to clear browser cache for 4 common browsers.
the site was just updated today and if you are experiencing issues, please try this first
(1) Clear your browser cache
(2) Do a hard refresh of your browser (on a PC, press and hold the control and F5 keys)
that should correct the problem
If you are having issues after that, please let me know

I've been updating/clarifying our rules and thought this was a good time to remind everyone that as a member, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE for abiding by the rules.
The single best guideline to posting here is to be civil to one another. For the sake a clarity though, I've highlighted some important rules for posting here below. The full version is here
Please note that moderators issue warnings for rule violations. Generally, these are 'verbal' warnings with a 1 point value. Points go away over ti
I am a Dr. Suess fan and can recite many of his stories word for word. And sometimes, on these boards, the story of the Zax comes to mind.
In "The Zax", a north-going Zax and a south-going Zax meet face to face. Because they stubbornly refuse to move east, west, or any direction except their respective headings around each other, the two Zax become stuck. The Zax stand so long that eventually a highway overpass is built around them, and the story ends with the Zax still standing there "unbudge
I get asked this question from time to time, as do the other moderators..........and always by someone who has been issued a warning for violating site rules.
So I thought I'd just answer here. The answer is no. None of us enjoys issuing warnings to members. We would all far prefer that everybody post in a civil way all the time with no need for anything from moderation.
Why aren't we nicer about asking people to comply with the rules? This is another question we get asked. (Usually this

Sometimes people get frustrated with each other here and sometimes people will call each other trolls.
A troll is someone who is here only to cause frustration and to provoke an emotional response.
But, just because you get emotional, does not mean that they are a troll.
Football fans are passionate and sometimes not very nice. But just because they might make you frustrated or angry does not mean that they are not also a fan.
I came across an interesting blog about this today: http://www.
There are some people that you may not get along with..........no matter what. When that's the case, we ask that you not conduct your arguments in public.

Ignoring them is a helpful choice to make........for everyones sake.

From time to time.......we will have among us a troll.
These are internet personas who exist to inflame, irritate, mock and generally call attention to themselves in a way that disrupts the boards.
There are many many different types of trolls and certainly some are better than others . They will often stay just inside the rules and they may also post (at times) in a credible manner.
In an internet environment, it can be difficult to distinguish real people from trolls.
