The played good defense until the last six minutes where they let up two touchdowns. Andrew Luck seemed great the first half but quieted down in the second half. The only thing that I think Andrew Luck didn't do well was him running backwards for a 22 yard sack. Other than that, he had two touchdown passes and no picks. I saw the Overall Quarterback Rating top 5 players while watching Monday Night Football and Luck was #1 with a 95.7 passer rating or something like that. I know it is not ent

Ive been looking around the net to try and see what is going on with Sampson and have not been able to find any info. This is a huge problem for us if he is not playing. The rag tag line did ok but some of those snaps made my heart skip a beat. I am a middle aged man and cannot take a whole lot of that. On the other hand, Essex looks like he may be a nice pick up for us, just got to get more acclimated to the system, which should not be that hard coming from Pittsburgh. I guess I may be worried
What is the magic formula to winning? I know there are plenty of those who think they have got that figured out, but............there is no magic formula, teams win in many ways, the real formula is...........whatever it takes................ Congrads to the Colts/Luck on win #1 in the new era. There are still some concerns, the running game was not impressive, 30-84 (2.8 avg) the O-line didn't look too good in the beginning (again) then Satele went out, but I didn't really notice any dropoff, w
I absolutely love this time of year, After enjoying a tailgate feast at 14 West with family and friends made way to Lucas Oil to take my missed seat and watch our men in Blue take the field. First I'm not a fan of the replacement refs clearly they need to go through training but it is what it is, calls good or bad are going to happen for us or against us. Congrats Luck you showed us that you are moblie and thankfully you made the moves needed to avoid being sacked. O-line for the love of all
The Colts improved overall between last week and this week. We played way to conservatively in the second half of the game; a mistake by the coach I am sure. If we had stayed competitive offensively, we would not have had to worry in the end. It was awesome to see Luck's poise under pressure in the final offensive moments of the game though! When we get Freeney back we will be looking real Colts Strong!!
I will be going over our first 4 rounds. Let's say that we end up with the 1st pick in the draft. A team will want Barkley and we will get 3 first's, 2 second's, and a third. We could possibly get a 3rd third round pick for compensation from Garcon, at least a fourth. We will be at the 6th pick in the draft. We should trade down yet again, this time to 10, and pick up another second. With this pick, we choose Chance Warmack, OG Alabama. Warmack is a beast!! He completely dominated the Michigan d
He's got the moves... like.... What's going through his head, first time outta that tunnel trying to play his way into the hearts of the un-belivers. Tough stuff for a rookie, at home, big shoes to fill, can't make any mistakes, Gotta job to do. Shake it off, just get it done. Support thats what I need, I know I can get that here.... Wow still see alot of those #18 jerseys!!! I can only imagine how he feels, Andrew, GREAT JOB!!! And for the folks that wore # 18, there's a place for that. It's

This Sunday against the Vikings, Dwight Freeney will not play. How is Hughes going to do. Is he going to surprisingly do well or not do well as usual. Hughes was a 1st round pick years ago and has not lived up to expectations. His window of oppurtunity is closing in Indy.

I read the article today on Colts.com about Edgerrin's upcoming honor and got me to thinking, where does he rank, all-time? As always it's subject to opinion, without giving it a great deal of thought I think there are 5 RB's who seperated themselves from the rest and I ranked them ( also without a lot of thought ) 1. Jim Brown-much like Unitas and Berry his career stats don't look as impressive as some, but it was a different era and they played far fewer games in that era 9 years-12,300 yds-

Just got finished answering the last e mail from my Denver buds. They are sure glad to have the end of an Era. I, on the other hand, sure am glad to have the beginning of a new one. I have no problem defending my COLTS. History repeats itself, I sure am glad. Manning: 37 attempts for 21 completions/ 302 yards. Andrew: 45 attempts/ 23 completions/ 309 yards. 7 yards better for Andrew... 7 is a LUCKY number...
Colts may have lost but it is not the end of the world. Far from it. As really the Luck and Pagano era has begun. But they have fifteen more games rest. So do not think it is the end of the world. In fact, far from it!
The Colts take on the Jaguars this week with teams both standing at 0-1. Luck threw for over 300 yards on Sunday but also threw three picks and completing only 51% of his passes. Luck can rebound this week over the Jaguars easily. All great QBs don't start out perfect. Manning had the same type of numbers as Luck in his debut in 1998 against the Dophins. Unitas, the greatest quarteback the Colts ever had, started his career on his first pass with a pick six. Look at the career he had afte
Just as the pre season isn't really a good way to guage...much, neither is 1 game, after about 4-5 games, a pattern will develope and then the indications will be more defining. I like that Pagano and Luck both stood tall and said they have to do a better job, nice try, the TEAM needs to do a better job, not saying they weren't without fault, but they aren't the problem. Luck played pretty good (on the Luck curve) very good for a rookie QB, he said he turned it over 4 times 1. not a good thro

It's LeBron being LeBron. I have never been a fan of his for many reasons. He looks like a decent family man and takes great care of his kids + has never been in trouble with the law so I respect him for that - he is also a Great Basketball player, best today. Having said that his ego is outrageous, he left Cleveland in his prime because he couldn't win a Championship. Peyton Manning for example never thought about leaving Indy because he couldn't win for years against the Pats and Steelers in
Yes, that is a fair point some individuals just like to stir the pot & cause controversy & mayhem simply because their life has not turned out as well as they wish it had. Like it's somebody's else's fault that they don't make enough money or have a pretty girlfriend or any girlfriend for that matter.
Look, I'm not trying to minimize any fatality white, black, male, or female & I know that being a police officer is not an easy job. I get that. I just wanna get to an atmo
I am getting ready to get off work so I will have to respond to your Post tomorrow in more detail but all great points. Racism will probably never go away unfortunately as there are just people in this world that are ignorant and violent. I am not sure how anyone can solve some of the violence talking place. It just seems to get worse and worse with groups of people getting shot in night clubs, theaters, etc. for no reason. White cops aren't doing themselves any favors either by shooting unarmed
Thank you CBE for your response to my blog entry. I know how busy peoples daily lives are so I am grateful for feedback & different points of view on this subject matter.
Max Kellerman on ESPN 'First Take' has made the intriguing argument that in America anyway the Natl. Here's my short take on Colin and what is going on: I have no problem with people protesting about something they believe in or serious matters like racism, that is everyone's right to do so. Where I have the problem is dissing the American flag. It doesn't accomplish anything and it really gets many people to dislike you and question why you are doing that. To me it's dissing the Military and the USA when you don't acknowledge the flag. All you are doing is drawing negative attention to yoursel
I hope you're hanging in there brother as well as can be expected given such heart wrenching circumstances. Miss you man. I'm here if you need me. God bless, my friend.
YSGC,
Thank you for being brave enough to share such personal information about the loss of your beloved father. That took a tremendous amount of courage on your part.
Naturally, that void in your life will never be filled of course, but this line made me smile:
"He insisted we bury him in his Colts gear" Awesome!
When are people going to realize that the offensive line talent in last year's draft, outside of La'ell Collins, just wasn't that good? Sure we could've used a couple of picks on some mediocre o-line talent, and people would be right here, with their 20/20 hindsight, saying that they were terrible picks, and that Grigson should be fired.
Instead, we took a WR. People didn't like the pick, as the Colts allegedly were already "stacked at WR." Well, fast forward to this year: Johnson is
