Wonder How Many Saints Players Will Be Punished?

I would hate to take a guess. But I say that the number. Will be very, very high. On the Bounty Gate thing. As the players and suspensions will come mainly from nearly all of the defense. If not, ALL OF THEM. As it seems that the suspensions and fines are going to be handed down to them. And very hard one might add.

Coltster (Pagano's Monster)

With getting rid of old coaching staff and GM, hiring new GM and HC clearly a new attitude came to Indy. Polian's "never change the winning team" philosophy is likely gone. At least I hope, new FO will be able to make any needed change even if the team is successful. In my opinion, last disastrous season is partly result of "lazy" free agent signings, unchanged tactics (Manning centered O and soft D), and unchanged special team. Obviously, persons in charge flattered themselves, that Peyton "One

To draft or not to draft...and some other things

Yes, I'm talking about Luck. Everything is pointing toward drafting Luck with the 1/1 pick...is it??? Irsay is trying to keep us and the media alarmed by covering his cards on his draft choice, stating "evaluation process is open minded". I've tried to gather points why Irsay is to draft Luck: He IS the #1 in the draft. Obviously, no doubt... His pro day has proven he is a great talent. Period. Colts is a pass oriented team, and he fits in the best into this scheme. FA signings suggest me, tha

Something new

Today something new happened. I was sitting in the living room reading "A Dance With Dragons" by George R. R. Martin, my oldest daughter was sitting nearby watching television and my wife was embroidering a small pillow when the phone rang. I looked at the TV screen because it displays the number of the incoming call and it was Nick, my other daughters boyfriend. My wife answers it because he rarely calls during the work day so we figured it must be important. It was. She says hello, gets an o

What will 2012 be like for the Saints?

I want to put a disclaimer at the beginning of this blog: I in no way am putting the Saints (who are not involved in the Bounty Scandal) or Saints fans down in this blog. I urge you to not consider that to be anywhere in my words. Quite the contrary, I feel for the fans (I can only imagine what I would do should my beloved Colts have been involved in something like this...), I feel for the players who are innocent and uninvolved in the bounty,,,but, the question I pose is one we're all thinkin

Intro

I've started my blog, to share my thoughts about being a Colts' fan in a country, where Football has growing popularity and teams have growing Hungarian fan base. However we have a chance to attend 2 games in a weekend, we hardly have a chance to watch our chosen favorites, as editors are trying to give give chance to watch every team at least once in a season. Colts' don't have a large fan base here, I really don't understand why...as there is no better team than COLTS! Some short info about my

34th Pick

With Hill, Fleener, Jenkins (CB from Florida/N Alabama), now possibly Poe, and many other great players possibly falling to the second round who should the Colts take? I personally like Hill or Fleener to help the new QB.

Looking Forward To The Day That "Luck" Runs Out For The Colts!:)

.....And with the first pick of the 2012 Draft, the Indianapolis Colts choose Andrew Luck! Luck ..Luck... Luck..... (echo trail off) I cannot wait to hear those words uttered and then for the day the Andrew Luck actually runs out for the first game and takes his position behind the center for the Colts. Oh, pardon me I apologize for my provocative title to mislead you into thinking that I wish bad luck on our team. I would never wish that or want it. I just wanted you to stop and read the blog.

Confessions of a graying metalhead

I got off work an hour ago and we got beat up again. They were trying new processes and new products and of course without training for the operators so once again maintenance is putting out one fire after another in an effort to keep everything moving. Anyway after I punch the clock and get in my truck the radio comes on and I hear a tasty old favorite of mine "The Green Manalishi (With the Two Prong Crown) by Judas Priest which brings a smile to my face as I put the truck into drive keeping

Three Weeks til NFL Draft 2012!

Hope you all are ready for NFL Draft 2012. As Colts will likely get Luck. As one coach of his said. The Colts would not be bright if they didn't select him. But they will. As now the new era of the Colts begins!

If We Draft Luck, Who Comes Next?

Yeah, Yeah, I know I am a little late to post a mock draft but what is one more... Right? Any way it looks like Luck will be our QB, I have given into that but who comes next? Over the past couple weeks I have been putting together scouting reports and just last night I finished the mock draft. So let me know if you like it or not. I put a lot of time into this so please no hating Indianapolis Colts Needs: I broke it up into major and minor needs. Major needs are needs that we don't have

What Does Our Team Have To Say?

To some, this blog will be considered a few weeks too late, but I really don’t think it is… I think in all the draft madness and Luck vs Robert Griffin III who is better talk and the release of many of our beloved players chaos many of us have lost focus on those that remain as well as the awesomeness (MO) that is our HC. We’ve lost focus on our team, and what they are doing, how they are thinking, and where we are going. Some articles on Colts.com have some good quotes from our veterans that

Greetings once again, NFL fans! For the last entry of this ‘Fun Fact’ series, the focus of this blog will be of the NFL defensive players who have collectively contributed to their respective teams statically during the 2011 regular season. As with the previous three blogs, the groupings will be according to the collegiate conferences at the time the players left school to enter the NFL draft. Speaking of the draft, we are now entering the three week mark until the 2012 draft! Note: The fun fact

Who Is Going To Be The Starting Rb?

Like every true Colts fan i am super exited about the up comming 2012 season. I have been pretty impressed with the players we have picked up in the free agency putting togather a big offensive line. One common thing i have heard about these new aditions is they are good at opening up the running game. I cant help but wonder who is going to be running the ball. Now dont get me wrong i think Brown has developed over the past couple years but not to the point to were he is a starter. As the last o
