I don't know if it's just me (and Dez Bryant), but the speed ratings seem off this year.  I don't know if these ratings always start out this low each year.  The biggest one is Charles, dropping from 98 to 92.

One theory is that EA was too lazy to do anything about the OP lob streaks and face catches from Madden 15, so instead of attrmpting to fix it, all they did was lower the speed ratings of players, implement the new catching system, and decrease the throw deep accuracy of quarterbacks by a lot.

Madden is going back to how the game should be.... Just how NCAA used to be.

The speed will be noticeable... The fast players will be a cut above the rest. The fast players will be fast the others will be average. Defenses will have to take good angles.

They are going back to the speed of play this year.

T.y. Hilton and Dorsett should be running past almost every player once they get past them instead of getting caught by slow linebackers.

The Patrick Peterson jig is up. Had a terrible year on what is a top 10 maybe 5 defense. They definitely robbed Chris Harris on the Top 100 list. Had a better year than the big name FA Talib who was destroyed by us in the playoffs loved watching that

Less a theory and more exactly what happened. Like how they can't make a game more difficult fairly so if you crank it up to All Madden or Heisman the CPU just cheats for an advantage.

I prefer NCAA over Madden but since they won't pay those players or let them make their own cash, gotta settle for madden

finally the man gets some credit, but 88 spd? i would at minimum give him 90 Vontae has some wheels on him
