We already disagree on 1. I know you knew I would take the Colts. I am with you on the Steelers though because the Ravens are resting everyone. Steelers are even favored by 4 already. I just heard it on CBS radio. Not sure about my Sunday picks yet.

I am just finishing it out. Some teams are so talented that resting doesn't make a huge difference, there is always that to consider too.

Regarding Sunday, there are so many 50/50 games I am not sure about them. Saturday was not even easy but I can't pick against Indy. Houston might beat us. We can't make mistakes against them.

As of now I am going to disagree with @chad72on 6 games - door is wide open for him, but regarding @Moe, I only disagree with him on 1 game. That will still give him the opportunity to switch a pick even 2 picks if he wants to catch me. It looks like Moe is using the method I am using. I go by what Caesars Sportsbook says a lot besides eye test and I have also done research on who is playing and who is sitting and what teams have to play for. I will do my picks and explain why I am picking who I am picking.

 

Steelers 23 Ravens 16 - Steelers are still playing for a playoff berth and the Ravens look like they are sitting most of their starters as they are locked in to the #1 spot. 

 

Texans 22 Colts 23 - I can't pick against Indy, I know @EasyEwill though so that will be 1 different right there between him and I.

 

Browns 17 Bengals 24 - Bengals are favored by 5. Reason why is, looks like the Browns are sitting most of their starters. They are already in the playoffs.

 

Vikings 16 Lions 30 - Lions still can get a #2 seed.

 

Jags 27 Titans 17 - Jags need to win to win the AFC South and Lawrence should be back.

 

Jets 17 Pats 20 - Possibly last game for Belichick there, they will win.

 

Falcons 20 Saints 27 - Saints still could win their division with a Bucs loss.

 

Bucs 26 Panthers 10 - With a win, Bucs win their division. 

 

Bears 19 Packers 20 - A win clinches a playoff spot for GB.

 

Broncos 20 Raiders 23 - Raiders are simply better and Pierce wants that full-time gig.

 

Eagles 26 Giants 20 - Eagles need a win to win their division. 

 

Seahawks 24 Cards 23 - Packers play at the same time so a Seahawks win, and a Packers loss would put the Seahawks in the playoffs.

 

Chiefs 13 Chargers 20 - Chiefs are locked in at the #3 spot and as of now Mahomes is sitting. As of now the Chargers are favored.

 

Rams 17 49ers 20 - Rams have already clinched a playoff spot, both teams are playing for nothing but since the 49ers are at home, I will pick them.

 

Cowboys 31 Commanders 6 - If the Eagles lose and Cowboys win, Cowboys win their division + the Commanders stink! Eagles and Cowboys play at the same time = 425PM est.

 

Bills 31 Dolphins 23 - Bills are just much better right now. Dolphins are a little banged up, Bills win their division.

Go by having fun when we are not picking for money. Go for picks when you are not stressed. That's what I do no money involved and just go with gut feeling.

I put in $2000 or $3000 a year on Fantasy football. I will win $12,500 this season but it's a stressful thing to keep up on. Most I ever won was $25,000. I like the stress free competition more than the money ones. After this season I'm probably going to cut down to just $1500 entry after this season. Wifey is getting mad at me.

As of now, I still have no switching and it is 1227pm Friday afternoon. Having said that, there is 1 game I may switch and that is the Seahawks at Cards. For some reason the line went from 5.5 to 3.0. I don't know what is going on there. If I switch, I will note it before the game. Cards just beat Philly as well.

After last night… my throat is killing me from yelling and my spirit is diminished. Congrats to all of you guys who picked so well this season. It’s been disappointing for me. Oh well. In the military they say embrace the suck. Well I suck so I guess I have no choice but to embrace it.

I am still debating over a switch or 2  . My mind is wondering. This is all I have left for fun = trying to win this thing . Last night was the biggest gut punch/ball kick I have felt since we lost to the Patriots in the AFC Title Game in 2014/15. Can't get a freakin 4th and 1 which ended the season. That game was ours and everyone knows it! Just give the ball to Taylor for cry and out loud!

 

A lot of people are venting, blaming this guy or that guy, bashing the team or Coach. I have been quiet the whole time and I am just letting them vent. This place has me burned out as I can only be the voice of reason for so many years after a bad loss. Just tired of it. I will be here today and update all of our standings and see who finishes 1-9. As of now, I have no interest in the Playoffs after last night.

I am not switching anything regarding the 1pm games. There are a couple I may on the 4pm games. If I do will note them. As bad as last night was, the Browns loss - when we got ripped off had us behind the 8-ball all year. The REFS have also made me lose interest at times during this season. I hope the Jags win today; Stroud is getting way too much credit for that win last night. He has had a very good rookie season - not great as he didn't beat Luck's passing yards record for example, I am not a hater let me stress that, but he didn't beat us. It came down to us blowing it at the end on offense.

Yes.. last night was the first game my wife got to watch a colts game with me because all the children went to bed. It was so sweet of her cheering on the colts players hearing her tell them to "run run run" she knows very little about football.. 

 

After our last play she was like "oh no, is that number 31 player going to get fired?" I was honestly dear.. I don't even know who that guy is haha. Last night made me feel so bad. I understand your pain. I'm still feeling defeated 😞

 

@2006Coltsbestever I was thinking, was this how we felt in 2021 after losing to the jags? I just don't remember feeling this bad.. I wish we fell apart when AR went down in week 5. I was ready for the tank.. then we started rattling off wins and I start getting excited.. it's crazy to think we have the rest of this long winter.. spring, summer fun before we get to see this team again..

So, @2006Coltsbestever I might have AGAIN screwed myself by going with the Broncos, this is what changing my mind has done for me, cost me, AGAIN, LOL  

 

So, far, the differences between you and me:

 

1. Texans over Colts - +1 for me

2. Giants over Eagles - +1 for me

3. Chiefs over Chargers - +1 for me

4. Rams over 49ers - +1 for me

 

If I had kept my Raiders pick, I would have evened it out with you.

 

Now, I am 1 behind instead of being even with you. Let me know if I am right. 

 

@Moe had Seattle and Kansas City, and by changing your pick, you guys are even now, I think, right?
