DE?  or DT?

Jordan Davis is such a hotly debated player, that I wouldn't want to pick him in someone else's stead.  Does he really deserve to go this high or not?

To be honest I dont know much about Jordan Davis as a prospect. Derek Wolfe and Calais Campbell are their current 3-4 DEs, and their current NT is Michael Pierce. All three positions could potentially use a bit of young blood.

Did @runthepostget their pick in?

Is this a good player? That is a move Rick Spielman may have made. He loved players from Notre Dame. If this guy is as good as Harrison Smith, I want him.

The two guys that have been linked to the Vikings are Stingley and McDuffie. Stingley is the grandson of the man that Jack Tatum hit and led to his paralysis.

He can play slot, WILL, rush, defend the run, even ST, cover WRs and TEs, and just be a moving piece. Above all, high football IQ, and communicator. I think it will give flexibility to vikings defense.

They need a very good cornerback, but I think one elite CB alone will not make this a championship team at this point. If that was the case, I'd have selected one of the  two you mentioned.

With the 19th Pick of the NFL Draft, The New Orleans Saints select:

Treylon Burks, WR, Arkansas

After 2 seasons of next to nothing from Micheal Thomas, the Saints decide to inject some new blood into their WR group early. Burks has the talent to take over for Thomas, or give Jamies Winston a very sold 1-2 punch at WR if Thomas regains his form.

Imagine if this actually happened

We got Ballard on draft cam...

IS THAT A BABY?

How ‘bout a remake of Three Men and a Baby with Jim Irsay, Chris Ballard, and Frank Reich?

I was shocked by Panthers selection

I was gonna take a swing at Willis, but he went at 4, had the chance to trade up to 4, but chose to stand Pat simply because I had 5-6 guys graded out for 6th. Went BPA.

Me too. He was probably the safest edge left on the board. I am glad he took him there because I was hoping Thibodeaux or Sauce would make it to 9 when I traded down.

I was wanting Hunchison but he went I think 2nd or 3rd.

    • How to beat the Texans and every other team? With a stick!
    • Colts are blessed to have such a great owner !
    • Okay, I know this is a Mr. Obvious post, but bear with me.  What else do you have to do during the dead season, lol?   As a Buckeye, I appreciate how good CJ Stroud is.  In MHO CJ had better WRs and RBs when he was at THE OSU than he has in Houston.   So how did TTUN beat us (bad) two years in a row when he was in Columbus?  Simple, their Offense was way better than our Defense.   Bottom line - the Colts D doesn't have to be great.  Average will be good enough - IF the Colts offense is as good as we think it could be and play ball control, has extended drives, and limits the other teams possessions.  And maybe that's the plan considering Ballard not being too concerned with improving the DB rooms.   (Sure, it would be nice to have a great D.  No argument there)
    • Hey Everyone,   So, I just caught wind of Goodson's apology letter after dropping that short pass from Minshew against the Texans last season. Here's my humorous take on the situation:   "Dear Fans, Coaches, Teammates, and Supporters,   I'm writing to apologize for buttering up that short pass in the most critical moment against the Texans. Look, I know I'm the backup running back, but hey, I'm usually good for catching those short throws - emphasis on 'usually'. My bad for turning a routine play into a blooper reel moment.   To my teammates, sorry for making you wonder if I was secretly playing for the other team. Next time, I'll practice catching more than just footballs thrown by the water boy.   To the coaches, maybe let's reconsider throwing short passes to guys who have hands that are more slippery than a greased pig at the county fair. Just a suggestion.   And to the fans, thanks for turning my drop into a meme. I promise to work on my catching skills so I can make highlights, not lowlights, next season.   Sincerely, Goodson (aka the running back who should stick to running)"   Okay, maybe I exaggerated a bit, but you get the gist. Let's hope Goodson has been hitting those catching drills hard this offseason!
