WR Tarik Black (Texas)

Impressive game 1, 3 of 4 for 67 yards.

no yards game 2.

Could be trying to keep him off TV so he makes it to the PS lol...

 

WR Tyler Vaughns (USC) 

Impressive game 1, 3 for 3 for 46 yards.

1 of 1 for 4 game 2.

Would love to get him on the PS. Reminds me of Pascal.

 

RB Deon Jackson (Duke)

Still hanging around, behind LeMay though. Likely a PS guy.

5 for 17 (3.4) in game 1.

4 for 12 (3) in game 2

 

LB Isaiah Kaufusi (BYU) 

Co-led the team in tackles in game 1, and had a TFL

1 T and 1 PD in game 2.

 

LB Anthony Butler (Liberty) - already cut

That won't work--iirc all teams have access to all game films.

Which reminds me: any teams will still have to put a cut player from another team on the 53 roster for a couple of weeks, right? We are the only ones that can sign our own guys directly to the practice squad after a couple of days on the waiver?

I want it to be Tyler Vaughns.  He's worked so hard.  However, there's just not room enough to carry this many WR's.

It's probably going to be Kaufusi.  The LB room isn't has crowded.  And can play special teams.

You are thinking PS basis, if a team signs a guy from another team PS they have to stay on active roster for I believe 3 weeks. Cutdown day, the players are waived and can be claimed/signed by any team, but are not required to stay on active rosters for a certain period of time. Basically a guy could get waived, signed, waived again in 3 days. 

 

PS is only after they are waived and all teams have  a chance to claim/sign him. After that we can sign him to PS or they can sign to another teams PS.

I think anyone that is cut/waived, is free game for all. And not all practice squad salaries are created equal, so teams can more or less out bid each other IIRC. 

 

We'll be shopping, and everyone else will too. My biggest hope though is that we can keep some of our WRs. Patmon, Harris, Vaughns, and Black, all looked good. And especially whoever doesn't get that 6th spot (Patmon vs Dulin vs Harris).
