I haven’t seen him play, but based solely on the profile, he sounds horrible. Again, just my first impression based only on the profile. He sounds more like a practice squad candidate than someone worthy of being on our 53.

My first concern when all is said and done...

 

Who is our  starting 3 tech (Ridgeway?)?  Who is our WILL (Leonard?)  Who is our Strong Safety? (Geathers?).  IMO, this is the backbone of the D.  Getting a solid MIKE and edge rushers bolsters the scheme.

This Muhammed guy is 6'1 253 lbs.  Sounds a bit small to play DE in our new scheme.  Only 2 lbs heavier than Simon who some speculate was cut because of poor scheme fit.  I'm confused.

He did play well last year in preseason for the Saints, iirc. But then got buried when the season started.
