This guy would be a nice pick up in the mid rounds of the draft.

 

He is a bit raw but he has the motivation that Malik Jefferson lacks. I think with good coaching he can be a solid player. 

 

He generally reads the play well and doesn't over commit - which seems to be a problem with the current linebackers on the team.  

 

I always liked Iowa players and I think if Ballard wants a tough defense he is worth a look.

 

Eberflus worked well with Sean Lee and they are similar in their playing style.

One of my favorites in the draft. Love his intangibles and the way he plays the game. Funny you should mention Sean Lee. That’s his pro comparison on NFL.com. He’s a perfect fit as a SAM IMO. Only knock on him is a lack of lateral agility .

Saquon Barkley had a field day with him..He did with a lot of guys though..lol..I like Jewel though, he is a gamer tough guy..Iowa players are NFL ready for sure..

I don't think he's an NFL starter. Unless he has a clear path to the ball carrier he's not making a play. Gets absolutely abused when lineman get their hands on him.

I think Jewel is fairly athletically limited for the NFL.  

 

I think I had heard the projections on him where like 6th round.
