Seahawks drop weird game in St. Louis

The end of this game was bizarre. Seattle did an onside kick to start OT and St. Louis recovered and scored the game winning FG. Carroll said he did not call for the onside kick but the kicker made a mistake. Hauschka apparently was supposed to do a bloop kick to about the 15 but he clearly kicked an onside. He said he just mis-kicked it but if you watched it, it looked like he was trying to hit the onside kick IMO.

 

Then on Seattle's following possession in OT they had a fourth and 1 and hand off to Lynch and he got stopped for a loss. Talk about irony.

 

In addition, Dion Bailey who was Kam's replacement let up the game tying TD with under a minute because he fell down on the play.

 

Seattle next plays GB. They could be staring at 0-2.

They'll be 0-2 and ask Kam, "what did you want again?"

and as usual, they can't win a game when the D gives up 30+ points.

1. I loved seeing the Seahawks lose

2. I loved seeing Sherman get beat near the end of the game by Bailey for a big catch

3. It shows you just how important Kam Chancellor is to their defense

I was glad to see them lose.  I bet alot of people in my knock out league picked the Rams to lose.  I can't belive they tried and onside kick in O.T.

Rams looked pretty good foles played well. I think rams go pretty far this year then again its one game when u look back at who lost on day 1 last year was some shocks. One person who must be loving this is kam.

Make that 25 points. Russell Wilson is 0-8 when the Seahawks give up 25 points or more. That is as lop sided as it gets.

Exactly. It will be like the Dallas Cowboys giving Emmitt Smith his contract after starting 0-2 before they go on a run and win the SB if the Seahawks do go 0-2, give Kam Chancellor what he wants and win the SB.

Seattle had lost something like 3 of their last 4 games in STL. this wasnt a surprise to me.

The Rams are going to be a good team this season. I'm not surprised that Seattle lost this one.
