The whole stacked box argument is kinda skwed with Gore. The 49ers probably ran far more jumbo sets than anyone else in the league.

that is a good point.  But how much is his yards after first contact.  having trouble finding this stat. that imo is the most important stat for what Indy needs from him.

Gore runs hard. He's been one of my favorite non-colts players for quite a while. He'll bring a new energy to the RB position on this team and if he plays to form he'll be the toughest runner we've had since Edgerrin James.

If he is doing it against the starting D then yes, if he is mopping the floor with

2nd and 3rd stringers then more needs to be seen of him before getting too

excited.

It looks promising for sure.

he's been doing it against the Colts D, so that should tell you something, BUT i like him, have watched him, have heard all the commentary about him, from pundits, critics & fans and likers, and find that he is going to be a keeper for sure, trust me on this, he's the REAL DEAL.

Same here, I don't really like or follow that many players from other teams. Obviously Manning ect, few others but I also have always liked Gore. He's probably been one of my favorite runningbacks for a long time. I used to watch the Niners and ponder to myself what a running back of that caliber could do for the Colts. I also agree he's the best RB the Colts have had since Edge, Bradshaw was very good but just injury prone, very unfortunate.

If we keep 5 WR's both are gone.

But if we keep 6 gotta give it to Griff. Haven't heard brown at all this camp

I though Brown has looked great! It's just that between other players getting more hype before camp (therefore creating a bit of a media bias) and his competition just being so good, he's just kind of faded into background. Poor guy, though. I think he's got the talent to belong somewhere in the league, just maybe on a team with less talent and more opportunities.
