Is anyone else besides me slightly addicted to this fun but unrealistic site?

 

I can't seem to crack 8000 as a score, I was just wondering if anyone else played and if so what their approach was?

No you don't, Not for me atleast. You have to trade up with both future picks listed. And from what I know there is a grading category for future picks which will lower your score a lot.

I'm sure plenty here has played. I've played once so far and Jared Cisneros turned me on to it. He'll probably be more able to offer strategy suggestions.

That is correct, trading up is really not a good idea it seems. It seems pretty much, trade down as much as you can, but maximise your picks. So basic strategy for me so far is if there is a player I will get an A for, pick them else trade down. You soon amass a lot of picks. If you get a faller snap them up. 

 

However look at the high scores... 10,000?? How?!

I can see why, it's an addictive site but not realistic for me. You'd think it wouldn't be that hard to code in the trade value chart with some variance based on a weighted player availability vs team need. The trades offered are always way too generous in my opinion. It's a game not a simulator for me but still fun.
