  1. If you look closely, #99 (their RE), helps with a rush right at Q as well. ...They had to double team an Offensive Lineman.... and still didn't get through in time.
  2. My only knock on the TD's is that when you examine the play calling (Specifically inside the 10) it looks as if its designed to pad Jacoby's stats. ESP the pitches to TE's/Wr/Rb's that are essentially a run but Jacoby gets the stat line. I honestly think Frank & co designed it that way to build trust/confidence in Jacoby by inflating his TD numbers. I could be wrong, but this is just something I've observed.
  3. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought I saw Okereke play some Sam this past weekend against the Titans. I saw one play with Leonard in at Will, Walker in at Mike, and Okereke at Sam. Why can't we just roll with that?
  4. I'd rather shoot for potential HOF rather than settle for average. Also, a big key to some (not all) drafted qb busts is that they were typically taken within the first 10 picks (which generally are teams that have nothing). We have a team and just need that piece to step in and do some of what Luck was doing. The QB can grow from there. I loved what Brissett represented as a person, but simply put - he's not the answer.
  5. I don't understand how you can be a 'bust' if you physically can't get on the field. I for one would like to see Funchess come back next year. Guy is a baller and just had an unfortunately injury take place.
  6. Had the opportunity to watch JB in houston.... I was greatly disappointed. I love the guy, his character, leadership, intangibles, but he's an NFL qb. He looked slow seeing routes develop, understanding the pre-snap looks the defense was showing, and he had all day to stand in the pocket. Second half they were just stacking the box with a single high safety. There was about 2-3 times where Marcus Johnson was 1-on-1, and JB wouldn't even look his way. Like atleast take a shot to stretch the field. And on the 4th down run where he came up short, there were at least 2 options that came open, but he hesitated. He even had the option to run and pick it up but kept standing in the pocket until the very last second, and we know how that worked.

I was at the game... vinny was hitting 55 yarders pretty easily at halftime... how this hasn’t even been showed on ESPN or discussed, blows my mind
  8. Lewis has the Q Wilson bug. Just not showing up 100% to practice. Can't play a guy if they aren't willing to put it all out there in practice. As #88 once said "They pay you to practice, the games you play for free"
  9. By far Hank 'the playboy bunny' Baskett
  10. (Zeke is bolded because it comes from an article about Zeke)
  11. Does anyone know who #71 on the D-line was? Not sure if he caught anyone else's eye, but he was in the backfield nearly every pass play. (Side-note; somehow we have a #71 on the O-line and D-line, didn't think and don't know how this was possible)

    TC day 6

Hey ya'll so I never post here, but actually went to Tarleton State with EJ Speed. First of all, it surprised the heck out of me when he was drafted as a LB. From my recollection, he played WR most my time there. Tried his hand in basketball, but that didn't work out (our basketball team is a lot better than our football team) I graduated last May so this last season is when the new coaches may have transitioned him to LB. Guy is a legit 6'4'', has a lean WR frame, which still surprises me that hes playing LB in the NFL. Humble and quiet guy in class. Wish him the best and hope that he does pan out for us.
