This is the worst article ever

Franchise tag for Nicks:  $10+ mil

Franchise tag for Bradshaw: $8+ mil

Franchise tag for Butler: $10+ mil

I don't know if we can franchise Freeman because he's a RFA.  I'm not sure how that all works

Franchise tag for Adams: nearly $7 mil

All of those are terrible choices.  This guy either doesn't know how the franchise tag works or doesn't follow the Colts very closely

My guess is BOTH.

The way I understand the RFA works like this we can offer him a second round tender if he doesn't accept other teams can make offers but we have the right to match if we don't and he goes to another team we take their draft pick from that round. I could be wrong but I think that's the way it works.

I believe that's correct.  It doesn't have to be just a 2nd round tender though.  I believe you can put other round tenders on RFAs too

Ok yeahithought you had to offer them their original round tender not sure how that works exactly if they were UDFA

There are three different tenders. There's the first round tender, around $3m for one year, and if another team wants to sign the player, they have to give up a first rounder. There's the second round tender, around $2m, same deal. And there's the original round tender for a little more than $1m, which is kind of obsolete because usually drafted players don't hit unrestricted free agency, but if you did have a 5th round guy on the original round tender, the team signing him would have to give up a 5th round pick. If you use the original round tender on a UDFA or a CFL guy, the team that wants to sign him doesn't have to give up a pick.

For all tendered players, the original team has right of first refusal, meaning they can match any deal that the player is offered.

My biggest pet peeve with this article aside from it simplistic & trivial content is a navigation issue. I deplore online stories that require me to click the next button to continue reading it. It reminds me of a PH.D. dissertation with footnotes at the bottom of the page except substitute advertising for the actual citations. It ruins the flow of the article & I prefer my online material in 1 continuous column. That may not be the author's fault but the webmaster or designer of the website where the article originally got posted.

Then, I read the piece & said to myself Jonathan George has no idea what in the world he is taking about. Is this what passes for journalism now? Sigh...

I just really dislike waiting for other pages to load with minimal text or relevant information on them. Don't waste my time when it comes to my favorite team. That really irritates me.
