What an Experience! Drove from NY (12 Hours) as attended 1st NFL game ever as Colt fan since the early 70's. Nice to see the Colts crush Titans on 9/28.The fans were GREAT! and welcoming as mentioned from NY and 1st game. Touchdown Town was cool as meet Jeff Herrod/Cheerleaders. Lucas Oil Stadium is AWESOME as was in Sec 117 Row 11. Nice talking to Colt fans and spend, spend, spend at Colts Pro Shop. Now to plan another game.

I was talking away with a fan (season ticket holder) the whole game. A lot of McAfee  jerseys; popular in Indy I was told. I got a photo with Super Fan who carries (We Believe) in the lower level as always see him on TV. He has Colts Andrew Luck 12 on shoulders looks like pucks. I joined Colts fan club.

I showed some fans photo of me and Mathis when he was in NY during Super Bowl week events. What a nice guy as he signed a mini-helmet, football and 07 Super Bowl cover yearbook. They asked if I was from NY, as must have been that accent.

The game live is so FAST, as TV does not do it justice even with HD. Eye sight was split with watching the field and other times the Jumbo screens. Nice to get Programs free. I can't get those Arby Colt glasses in NY. I proudly wore 1st game pin. Pep does love to run that 1st down run 99.9%

Glad you enjoyed you visit to Indy. Your welcome to come again that's for sure. Lucas Stadium is an awesome place with so much to do before and after the games. Downtown Indy is pretty visitor friendly too.

Glad to hear you had a good time here in Indy. You couldn't have picked a better day weatherwise for it & to top it all off we got a big win. As others have said come back to take in the city along with the surrounding areas which are pretty awesome during the fall. The leaves will be changing soon.

That's awesome to read. I've been a fan since '84 when they came to town, saw many a game at the Hoosier Dome, but still haven't seen a game at Lucas since I moved away... Can't wait 'till I do!

I live not far from LOS & have yet to go because some of those games in the early 90's were rough. The best seat is still the one in my house.

If you are flying in avoid the window seat or what happened to Shatner could happen to you.

That is funny and a great Twilight Zone episode. I think that little Gremlin may be Itzy. Actually I will be driving in as I have business in Carmel, and hopefully I won't be diverted to the highway up ahead, The Twilight Zone.

Old Crow u must have seen the Colts at Memeorial Stadium? Unitas, Jones?? That Willam Shatner expression was when I returned to NY from the niceness of Indy.

Yes, I saw all those guys at Memorial Stadium . The Shatner look will also be my expression when I see the Unitas jersey in the Indy Colts gift shop ! Lol. Anyway I'm looking forward to it, it should be a surreal experience.

I saw a few Unitas t-shirts, jeresys at the game, not the original retro though- I have a Reebok Unitas. The one you have name made to Colts Jersey. What blew me away was an Art Schlichter #10 jersey sighting.

If the guy was begging for quarters, it might actually have been Art Schlichter.

He used to hang out down at the zoo gambling with the animals. I heard he stopped because there were too many cheetahs.

    • The Colts handed Taylor a boat load of money which is unheard for a running back in today’s NFL.  You don’t do that and take him off the field in crucial situations for Trey Sermon and Tyler Goodson.  Shane has done just that in two of the last three games he’s coached.  Not playing maybe your best offensive weapon for a whole fourth quarter is criminal.  Shane is trying to be too cute and over thinking things trying to fool other teams and it’s not working in the slightest.  Play your best players at the most critical points of games.  That’s why you paid them.
    • People come up with the strangest over reactions ever when the Colts lose.
    • I agree 100 Ballard time is up , him and Bradley. You can preach accountability and retain Bradley another year….Ballard loves to say guys just need to hit the layup… he should take his own advice we all knew we needed help in the secondary this year no moves, we all knew we needed help last year at corner , oline year before. I talking about obvious weaknesses media calls him out on it year after year and he plays it off like he smarter than everyone then admit mistakes at the end of year and does the same thing. Bradley doesn’t make any adjustment like he runs what he runs and that it
    • To be honest this is malpractice by Ballard ….. like I know they think us fans are stupid but some of us played sports , coached sports , watched sports etc… we know what we are seeing like everyone knew we needed depth in the second. But Ballard doesn’t bring vets in and makes guys compete for a job he hands them to players he thinks are nice people a deserve a shot. Ala Pinter, NFL is a league where you get what you earn ,you eat what you kill , not what you deserve. Ballard need to take a hard look at him self at look at how other teams that win are built. We need speed at the corner position and a scheme shift. Like no HC under Ballard has been able to pick they DC he normally has one before they get hired and they retain Ballard guy
