what are your thoughts on Stephon Tuitt and do  you think he falls to our picks in the third

He has a good chance at falling to 59 honestly. And I might not take him there. In the third, absolutely.

I think there is a ZERO percent chance he falls to pick 90 in the 3rd...   and not more than a 5% chance he falls to 59, our pick in the 2nd.

 

I see Tuitt as a guy who is likely to go somewhere between 25-45.     We're at 59.    That's a long, LONG way to our pick.

 

I love Tuitt!   And would be beyond thrilled to get him at 59.   But I don't see it happening.   Hope I'm wrong.........

Tuitt isn't going to be there at 59 unfortunately he may go at the end of the first day or early in the second. We won't get a shot at him would love it if we did.

I think there is going to be at least one highly rated defensive player that will fall to our pick at #59. I think Nix, Hageman, Tuitt, Van Knoy, Ward, etc.. are all guys who might fall based on need. The RB's, OLineman, CB's, and WR;s are the bread and butter of this draft. I could see a lot of people reaching there.

The one player I don't see much buzz about and very well could drop is Van Noy. I would be happy to pick him in the second, but Tuitt is not going to be there in the second, although people are worried about that knee. Remember a few years ago, Gaines Adams from Clemson was thought to be a sure first round pick, many felt top 10. Knee troubles showed up very close to the draft and he fell all the way to the 3rd round, so stanger things have happened. Who thought Matt Barkley would fall to the 4th round, although I would not take a USC quarterback. Regardless, there are so many players that drop because of things we know absolutely nothing about, until after the draft. The same thing will happen this year, both on the upside and downside.

I think you're mistaken, Gaines Adams went 4th overall to the Bucs. He didn't live up to the expectations there and was traded to the Bears like 2-3 seasons later. R.I.P. Adams

Tuitt looks soft to me. Who knows what that looks like 2-3 years from now. Has an injury history.
 Rather put my $$$ on someone else.

Not impressed much at all with Tuitt though I do like that he moves quick when he wants to, Doesn't have explosivess or a quick first step off the edge, Not a violent hand fighter, Lacks pass rush moves, Better 34 DE's will be available I think

I disagree with the hands part, he uses his hands very well to engage and disengage from blockers and also has a killer swim move. He does play too high but that's correctable. Him and Hageman are as good as it gets for 3-4 ends in the draft

Hageman I agree though I dont think he will be available. Ill watch more on Tuitt but I wasn't impressed the 4 films I saw on him
