   Punting this one off - absolutely postively RE-SIGN Pat McAfee !!  He is a valuable commodity - allowing the "special teams" to live up to their moniker !!  Plus - he has proven to be a positive influence in the locker room - AND - in our community !!

I say the Colts should resign him. His ability to be another tackler on the special teams is already proved. He is also a very good holder on field goals along with being the back up field goal kicker.

All true.  It comes down to 'how much?'.  Love the guy, love his community spirit.  But in the end it's a business and you can't let emotions rule over fiscal responsibilities.

I say yes, he's in the top half of punters in the NFL at the very least.

 

He's a guy we can go with long term.  

 

Punters even the best ones arn't expensive.  So if you've got a good one there is no reason to let him go.

i hope they do he is a great punter and is awesome in the community but it comes down to money and we have a lot of great talent were going to have to sign here in the next couple years and punters do come cheap in the free agency but i do hope they retain him long term

I'm in the minority, but I say let him walk. I don't think we should pay a punter 4 million a year, when we can get a UDFA making close to nothing give us similar production. That 3 million, plus freeing up  4 or 5 million by cutting Satele could bring Alex Mack to Indy.
