Why does everyone hate jar jar

Let's see he's clumsy, destroys everything he touches or bumps into, is difficult to understand, & he gives Congressman Palpatine the deciding vote in the Galactic Senate to gain Supreme power over the Star Wars universe just like Germany's infamous WWII dictator did with the "Enabling Act" of 1933.

In short, Jar Jar is a walking time bomb who takes down everybody with him through catastrophic accidents. Is that a sufficient enough answer for you CF12? Just Kidding man!

George Lucas created Jar Jar to appeal to young children just like he did with C-3PO & R2D2, but those 2 pairings served a purpose & moved the story forward getting a vital message to Obi Wan from Princess Leia vs Jar Jar who was a lethal weapon just moving.  haha

I don't think very many people would associate Jedi with New England

See, but no, this is perfect...

In the story, the Jedi are portrayed to the citizens of the Republic as traitorous scum and eliminated by the Clones. Yet in reality, they're the good guys.
