Let's play a game of who is your favorite current Colts player and why. I'll say my favorite player is the franchise himself, Pat McAfee. Supurb kick off specialist, very good punter, best tackling punter in the league, he's our field goal kicker in waiting, and finally while he is serious on the field he know how to keep it fun and in perspective off the field.

Not sure Pat is too serious even on the field, he's told some stories on Bob & Tom about keeping it pretty jovial with the ref's & such...

Sounds like a fun dude to hang out/go canal swimming with!!!

Reggie Wayne, underrated for a long time even by Colts fans. I love the fact he stayed when things got hard and no sure thing of a quick fix when he had some other offers that probably looked like better situations than the Colts at the time. He gained a tone of respect from me for being the one that stayed when others like Tamme and Garçon elected to leave. I understand why they did and hold no hard feelings towards them over it but it made me respect Reggie that much more for staying. We are really going to miss him the back half of the season.

Hey! You don't learn to punt in your first year in the NFL, add the kick off duties in the second year, establish yourself as a legimate tackler as a kicker, and  work your way up to the franchise player without some fire underneath the hood. Now you made me think the jovialness is just an act and maybe he's a great actor....like......like.... Ronald Reagan.

Ha, I am not knocking Pat's playing at all... I love the guy & that hit he put on Holiday was awesome!!!

I know the guy has put in the work to get where he has, just don't think he takes himself too seriously...

The guy loves what he does, he has fun, & you can see that...

All my Texas players- Redding, Luck, Freeman, McNary(next year)

Non bias favorite is Robert Mathis because they said he couldn't do it, too small and played in the SWAC and he just plays at a high level day in day out and is going to be the all time Colts sack leader

Wayne- he stayed & that makes my respect for him sky rocket.. He could have went to the Pats or followed Manning, but he stayed with the shoe. That and not to mention he is a phenomenal future hall of famer. 87 has to be my favorite.. Him and Freeney were always co-favorites for me.

 

My new guy(outside of Luck)- definitely Freeman. A guy that basically started from the bottom and worked to make a name for himself. Great find by Grigs. 50 seems to be everywhere on the field and is fun to watch

He and Laron force fumbles on almost every hit they make when I play .... I love it!! My fav player is Darius Butler he has to be the most athletic player we have on D imo..

Yeah, and I also love using Laron early in the game when they try to run the ball. I remember in one game against my brother in play now, Laron single handedly injured 4 offensive players including the QB ( on an option play).

Reggie Wayne my favorite. Now that he's hurt my favorite on the field is Vontae. Love shutdown corners. Speaking of Madden Vontae is practically guaranteed to have 1 or 2 picks a game

Vontae had 3 pick sixes for me vs Alex Smith thr other night. 20 in their own 30 and one for 74 yards. I was like "are you kiddig me"
