Jets OC says he wants Geno over Sanchez

Add something else to the Jet's circus: An OC openly admitting he wants one QB over the other when his head coach just got through with an infamous discussion on refusing to pick a QB. I guess Rex's "appropriate time" was his OC making a preference for him.

I can see going with Smith and just taking your lumps as he learns the position. You know what you got in Sanchez and it is not good so better to roll with Smith and see how he progresses. This is a rebuild season anyway so the expectations are not there for a bunch of wins.

Simms beat them all out IMO. I can't help but feel like the QB decision is being based off of draft pick placement. 

 

Simms was accurate and fierce, confident consistently.

I would rather take an unproven rookie over a guy you know can't get the job done.  At least with the rookie, there is some hope in the unknown.

From what I saw I think Simms should get a chance with the O.C calling for Smith it really makes me think nobody really cared if Sanchez got hurt its his last year why waste any more time trying to coach up a loser .. The coach wants off the sinking S.S Sanchez ..

k well now Rex says he wants Geno too, so he must want to put this situation behind him. In some ways, perhaps Sanchez's injury is the best thing that could have happened to the Jets. Stability is always a plus.

As the Cubs close out this 2013 season it marks 105 years without a World Series. I would rather admit to being a die hard, life-long Cubs fan than admit I watched one second of a Jets game.
