Not sure if we would have enough to sign him, but he was a good player in Green Bay and is a natural fit in a 34 defense.

Even if we have enough to sign him, our LBs are very good.  We wouldn't have much use for him

Depending on where things are with Pat Angerer,  I can see us at least being curious and showing some interest.....

 

How far beyond that depends on lots of factors....

 

But I think we'd have a level of interest....

Well if they don't feel angerer is the answer you could trade him and even brown to get space to sign him

Weird to me. He's making just under $4m this season in salary and incentives. About the same next year. They'd save about $3m against the cap, but the Packers have plenty of cap space, even after their draft picks are all signed. What they don't have is a lot of notable depth at linebacker. I know he missed last season with a hamstring injury, but he ought to be okay by now.

 

Wonder if something else is up...
