Coltsguy510's Final Mock Draft

Recommended Posts

1. OG Jonathan Cooper: That's right, I'm saying that Cooper will fall and it will all be based on positional need. Cooper is a very athletic lineman. He isn't a mountain, but he still has great strength. He is a great pass protector at the OG position and is an elite blocker in space. He would fill a major hole and would be a huge steal at this point in the draft.

3. CB Logan Ryan: Ryan is the definition of a press corner. He loves to be physical with his man and to come up in run support. He has a great closing burst to receivers and and anticipates routes well. He hasn't sustained any injuries of concern over his career, even though he is so physical. He would give us one of the most physical secondaries in the game.

4. OLB Trevardo Williams: Williams has all the numbers. He ran a 4.57 40, has a 38 inch vertical, and had 30 reps on the bench press. Did I also mention that he's had 24 sacks in the last 2 years to go along with 28.5 TFL's. He plays with great hustle and he has the potential to be one of the best pass rushers in the game. I would say that he is the perfect counter to Walden's run stopping abilities.

6. ILB Jonathan Bostic: Bostic is a hammer. He set the tone for the Gators the last two years and should continue to do that in the NFL. He takes on blocks from lineman well and sheds them off quickly. I would look for him to come in and compete for a starting spot next to Freeman.

7. OT Luke Marquardt: Marquardt is huge at 6-9, 322 pounds. He is very athletic for his size and will be a project. He has a huge ceiling with his physical traits. He has dominated lesser competition in the NAIA, but could be a very solid backup in the future.

7. WR Marcus Davis: Davis has all the physical attributes to be a top receiver, but needs to work harder. He is a big receiver at 6-3, 230 pounds and would be a great red zone threat with his 39.5 vertical. His biggest area of concern is his route running, but working with Reggie will only improve that. He has great upside and would be well worth the pick at this point in the draft.

Another mock I wish could be true. I think the only player that may be there is Trevardo Williams.

Bostic will not be there in the 6th. I have a hard time seeing Logan Ryan fall to us in the 3rd.

There is absolutely no way Cooper falls to us. That would be a Christmas miracle. There are too many needy teams that could change course and go OG. The Giants, Cowboys, and Rams surely would take him.

A good try and I hope I am wrong.

I've seen that the cowboys could go S and the rams need S and WR more the OG

I think Ryan will be there. This is a deep corner class. I kinda knew Bostic was a reach and was thinking that we could trade one of our 7ths to move up to the 5th to get him. There is a chance, albeit small, that Cooper will fall.

I like it but I think I'd rather go with Corey Lemonier in the 3rd and Sheldon Price(both players being project players with a high upside) in the 4th if were talking about those specific positions, I like Bostic but rather have A.J. Klein

It was between Lemonier in the third or Williams in the fourth. Williams won cause of the value you get with Ryan in the third.
