schwamm
As foreign as that is for me to say, it is what I'm doing tomorrow night, at least for a few hours.A Jets loss secures a playoff spot for the Colts (and a big day from CJ2K secures a spot in the Fantasy championship game for me...) MAC
A Jets loss secures a playoff spot for the ColtsI thought that was only if the Bengals lost as well - which they did not. Regardless, I'd feel free to root against the Titans. The Jets realistically have no shot at anything besides driving a large percentage of their fan-base out of their minds. coltsleafs
I find it weird that they didn't list this as a possible clinching scenario because with the steelers loss ive been playing with the playoff machine and there no way we dont make the playoffs unless the Jets win out

coltsleafs
It doesn't secure a spot for the Colts if the Jets lose. I think it does I can't find a way they don't make it if the Jets lose tommorow. Try it out: http://espn.go.com/nfl/playoffs/machine
deedub75
The Pittsburgh loss did nothing more that allow the Ravens to clinch a playoff berth. I think Baltimore's losing is actually keeping more teams in play.
haughvillian
Please explain how they're not in if the Jets lose? Cinn/Pitt play each other next week, so one of them loses. I think even if Baltimore loses out, the Colt's are in. I can't see how they're not in if Tenn wins tomorrow night.
Dark Superman
Pit and CIN still have to play each other.. One team will have to lose..
Carlos Danger
We are definitely in if the Jets lose... i have to have played out every relevant scenario on the ESPN doohickey... This feels so strange, but GO TITANS (just puked in my mouth a little)
Coltsman1788
They could tie. But even then worse case scenario is... Cincy 9-6-1Indy 9-7Pittsburgh 8-7-1 So Colts would be in as 2nd wild card at worse if Jets lose tomorrow.
luckyblue
I still think we have to win one more game to get in, and we should be able to beat k.c. next week.
WCYT
I just did the ESPN playoff machine with worst-case scenario in mind. Tried a ton of scenarios, found one with us out. Indy loses allPit wins outCincy loses to Pit, wins BalNYJ wins Tenn, loses to SD, wins Buf That scenario has Pitt and Cincy in, us out. So the Jets must lose to anyone but SD because it would make Pitt and Cincy jump us. Or....just win at KC next week!
