MNF Chiefs at Steelers

Know that post that insinuates Manning gets behind on purpose? I think the Chiefs lose on purpose. They try too hard to dig themselves into this never-ending hole.

Chiefs are amateurs. You see the 2011 Colts? Now THATS how you get it done. We didn't get a win till late in the year.

Lol, at least the Colts had something special to look forward to in the draft. The Chiefs are amateurs at this it seems hahaha. They are going to win one less than the Colts did last year though, I'm afraid.

What you talking about? :shifty: Nothing was being looked at for the following draft for the Colts, especially not by us fans. Not at all.

Yeah, all those close games vs the Steelers, Chiefs and Browns that we squeaked out a close loss in 2011 so that we can win some close ones with some "Luck" now??

The Chiefs can thank me for jinxing them. As I said earlier, last year, close game, 3 points and the pick sealed it. Yet again that happened, even though they made me jump seeing they were trying to come back (as usual)

That entire team needs to hit the reset button.

That team needs a QB...

What is wrong with K.C.? Every year they give Pittsburgh a run for the money in a close game, and in the end they always blow it. They knock Ben out the game and I still highly doubt they'll tie it for OT.
Wow, Epic fail. Chiefs. Epic fail beyond epic fail. Lucky Steelers again. As usual. You know this game sort of reminded me of last years Steelers/Colts game without Ben leaving of course. I felt we should have won but blew it.

Can the Chiefs really be this bad? I think that they are consistently worse than the Cleveland Browns and that says something. What it says ain't good either. If you put Bill Belichick, Tom Coughlin, or Mike Tomlin in charge of this team could they win? Is this team cursed? I'm starting to wonder...The next Steven Speilberg film: Indiana Jones and the Lost Dignity of Kansas City Chiefs.

Cue the music...

Who will u want on a final drive -- TD or go home, Bills Vs Chiefs ????

Meanwhile I can see them in Baltimore saying , just at the right time thank u KC, next 2 of 3 games Vs Pit & prob at least next week he wont play Vs Balt

What happened to charlie Batch ???? , I didnt watch game but he used to go in & win for pit , not the leftover instead , but as said havent really watched pitt at all this year save game 1 Vs Denver

You know Barry, that's a great point. Why not put Batch in their as the backup Steelers QB? Batch is much more productive than Leftwitch more like leftover if you ask me...

At this point, KC are the crash test dummies of the NFL IMO. I actually feel a little sorry for them. I'd rather punt in both cases. ;) But, at least, the Bills have some fight & pride in them.

I agree fellas except the reset button has been hit so many times on this franchise that even the button is worn out, defective, and fails to properly execute it's daily function to. It's really quite sad & funny at the same time.

and a GM, and a coach, and a new WR, and some new pieces on defenses. A QB is not going to fix all their problems over night. Cassel is garbage to start with and they have taken him hook line and sinker all the way, but I don't know if any other QB is going to walk in and have immediate success behind that O-line.

if the rumors are true about hiring Marty S as GM, then they need to really use him to get rid of everyone and start over.

Charlie Batch was declared inactive before the game. When Leftwich got rolled from behind on the first (pass) play after Big Ben left, and got up shaky, a lot of Steeler fans must have been on edge wondering who #3 for the evening is...

Now, who will start if Ben is out... Batch or Leftwich? And who is #3 again?

    • Deebo is very physical but I think they want more of a take the top of the defense type of guy so they cannot bring their safeties down would you do a trade for Higgins?
    • Loved that the colts got to pick the first defensive player in the draft! I would love to see a lb with their 2nd pick!
    • The film is just incredible. He beat the blocker and ran over the running back. Just… insane.
    • I loved the pick. I had him as a dark horse because of his medical and felt he may slide because of it. Honestly, when it came to #15, he never really entered my mind, as I felt they would pass on him. People asked who they wanted at #15 and in one of my posts, I said a football player. I wanted Mitchell but I also raised the idea of Latua in other posts..  I really praise Ballard for this pick. I said he needed to come away with a play maker and there had to be some amount of pressure on him to do so. Apparently, information is out there that he tried to move up and I also said, I had a feeling this was a year they were going to try and make a move. I give a lot of credit to Ballard for picking the guy who has a lot of production and if he fails, so be it. I also told people on this board that this pass rush was not good enough. Ballard's eagerness to sign Hunter should have been a sign that he felt so as well. I said to watch free agency and it will tell you what their true needs are. He wanted Hunter and Sneed. The rumor is that he wanted to trade up into the 1st and everyone is saying it was probably a receiver. That is shocking to me but once again, I will give Ballard an A+ so far, because he was willing to be aggressive.  I do Steichen is having some influence on Ballard because of his days with the Eagles and how aggressive they are in the draft. I think this shows that he realizes that he needs to have play makers to play with the elite teams and you have to take some risk to get those type of players. I have been hard on Ballard, but he has knocked it out of the park so far. He took a guy with a questionable medical history, addressed a glaring need and a position that is needed to make this defense work. Don't be mislead by last year's sack totals. This team lost a pile of games in the 4th quarter last year because they could not pressure the qb. Now he needs a wr, S and corner. I wouldn't be surprised to see him move up in the 2nd. Way to go Ballard!!!
    • It seems most of his pass rush production has been as a standing OLB. He does have reps with his hand on the ground where he's produced as well, but he was asked to rush standing up most of the time. Hopefully that isn't a big transition for him, because it is for some people.
