Reggie Wayne fired the team up with a halftime speech @ Titans

"I was (upset)," Wayne said. "There was no false enthusiasm on this one. I was (upset) because I knew what we were capable of. We should have had a lead at halftime and we were behind.

"Reggie told us to look at everybody and see if we wanted to fight for each other," Satele said of Wayne's halftime address. "It just fired everybody up. I was looking around and thinking, 'I don't want to leave here with a loss.'

It was, he insisted, spirited, but not over the top. He spared the lockers, furniture and tables covered with Gatorade.

"No, no Ron Artest stuff," Wayne said. "I'm not going to throw any cameras or grab anybody like Bobby Knight.

"I just spoke up."

michael irvin,fitzgerald both have said that reggie wayne is the best route runner in the nfl i think wayne will be great just like tony gonzalaz into his late 30's because he doesn't rely on speed to get open.

That's great to hear. We did need a shot in the arm to get us going again after the first half. I remember how lackadaisical we were in the first half. Good to see Reggie got them going

I was already glad to see Reggie Wayne get resigned this year, so far his performance has been one of the best of his career. But more importantly, Reggie was the veteran leader that this team needed.
