Good read. Glad to see he's finally getting the well-deserved recognition that he's earned after being a true shutdown corner last year. He's a top 3 or 4 corner in the league right now. Best player on our defense by far.

Man oh man if Vontae had better hands he would have had atleast 7-8 Int on the season IMO he is top 3 in the Entire NFL.

Since Vontae is our best cover I would throw a wrench into the works in the Pats game by putting him on Gronk full time.  If not full time then maybe when the Pats get to 30 yard line, that seems to be when he most dangerous anyway.  Why not utilize our best cover man against their most dangerous weapon.   I know it sounds crazy but he is the same size as our safeties and bring up one of our back-up CB's to cover the Pats WR's in his place.  Force the Pats to adapt on the fly.  They are good at making other teams change their game plan lets do to them what they do to us.

Not only is he a great cover corner, he may be one of the best tackling corners in the entire league.
