I think he's letting up on some of these plays, not running full speed, short-arming, etc. And I think he's definitely been overthrown a few times. I haven't really studied his route running. I know I saw some freelancing in preseason, and when I have watched him so far this year, he seems more disciplined. Reggie Wayne alluded to some of the coaching and refinement he needs during training camp. He also got moved to slot when Downs went down, so he's been splitting duties, which probably isn't ideal. Our starters need to play more in preseason. I definitely value the joint practices, but I think maybe they should have those earlier in camp, and still get their reps in the preseason games.

Phew, I was worried this was another injury thread....... -
Wow, how far the standard for the Colts has fallen...Are we for real....a 500 record and some fans are beating their chest!!!! Sad that some consider this some great feat! I really hope I'm wrong but when this team ends up with a losing record and misses the playoffs, the Ballard apologist will be out in full force. ...................................Again, I will be the first one on here saying I was wrong if that doesn't happen and will be thrilled to admit it but I don't think I am wrong even though I want to be. Wonder if the rest of us will be so quick to admit they were wrong. Doubt it!
