Former S Mike Mitchell added to staff as assistant db coach

If I recall, Mitchell really helped Quincy Wilson during the short stretch QW was actually productive for us.

Awesome!!  I liked the guy for the part of the season he played for us and mentored that horrible Florida Gator on our team lol. I hope he does well and has a good career in coaching

Very pleased about this.   He’ll be the assistant DB coach.   A good entry level spot for a guy who was like a coach on and off the field for the Colts.

I really like this hire! Mitchell was very much a coach on the field when he was here with us and really help Wilson have his best season. I think between Ron Milus (really great reputation as a DB coach) and Mitchell, we should see a much improved secondary (even without bringing in any new players).

Honestly, of all the hires so far, Mitchell and June are my two favorites, in that order. The DBs when Mitchell played here really improved, then Dropped when he left.

 The Colts definitely seem to be staying away from retreads when it comes to coaching. Good on them. Now of they can only use that same philosophy when it comes to qbing

Exactly, he was a mentor and that has paid off for him, and hopefully the Colts!
