Gotta like the odds of having Walker and Okereke since no LBs were elevated from the PS for tomorrow. Yay!

 

Also, didn't Johnson have like 3rd most WR snaps last week?

If Johnson played last week... how is it that he's been elevated from practice squad this week?

There are different rules for practice squad players this season.

You can promote and demote a specific player twice year per year, and up to two players per game, without terminating their PS contract. So it's just a temp up-and-auto-down situation. Johnson was promoted demoted last week. IIRC, at one point, the new rules did not allow teams to promote the same player two weeks in a row, but that may have changed (they changed a few rules late near the beginning of the season). If that rule is still in effect though, might mean MJ was "formally" elevated this time.

Didn't MJ get injured last year? I thought he was looking good before the injury.  Can't remember.

Yeah, I think so. He has always been hanging around and has made plays when used.

Johnson’s 2018 season was cut short by a torn ligament in his right ankle that happened on a kickoff return in our loss to the New York Jets on Oct 14, 2018, and then he suffered a concussion in the preseason finale against Cincinnati last year, forcing us to waive him with an injury designation.
