Brees won in 2009 vs us... so that would be one... and Peyton in 2006

Brady in 2015 and 2002... so i'm going to say 4x this has happened

Yeh, corrected myself there. Although the Superbowl for 2015 season was won by the Broncos. So perhaps 3? I originally thought the question was who was the last.

2009 Brees and 1999 Warner - that’s it

Last 2 QBs to throw 50 TDs and 5000 yards made the SB and lost, just FYI

So the year is the year the SuperBowl took place, not the year of the NFL season.

Most refer to the Colts winning the 2006 Championship.

So your question is a little deceiving.

Except that it is not my question.

I am not the OP. :)

Drew Brees did lead the TD count in the 2009 season with 34, tied with Brett Favre, Peyton had 33 in the MVP season.

Okay to clarify things, and I can now see it's rather confusing, for which I apologize for.

But If we take 2017, where Russell Wilson lead all QB's with the most TD's in a season, he didn't won the following super bowl.

That's how it should be understood.

Im from Denmark, but even I can make typo mistakes ;)

To be honest, I understood you fine. The 2006 Colts won the SB in 2007 but it is always remembered as the 2006 Colts that won it all. Russell Wilson did not win the 2017 season's SB. That is what you meant and I got it.

Brady has never won a super bowl in a season he has lead the league in TD passes ;)

he won a super bowl in 2002, but it was Kurt Warner who lead the league that year in TD passes ;)

In 2015 when he won again again again again, Luck lead the league in TD passes ;)

Yeah, he won for the 2001 and 2014 seasons, that would be correct. The year when the actual SB was played should be discarded for discussion to reduce confusion.
