This is what I've been saying the entire NFL should have done from the start.    This will be far more effective than kneeling for the anthem

I think this is what the players were kneeling for. And instead of creating rules to stop it, the NFL should have did this and I guarantee the kneeling would stop. I'm not promoting kneeling during the anthem at all (especially since I am a veteran), but it is resulting in positive change finally which is fantastic

I agree.   The NFL as a whole should have got out on front of it long ago.
