Detroit Lions and the draft

It’s pure unconfirmed at the moment .... but det is said to be brewing up something big for this years draft. 

 

Detroit will give up their first round selection (20th), their third round pick (82nd) and their eighth round selection (277th) in 2018 plus their first and second round picks in 2019 for the browns #1 pick this draft. 

 

They are supposedly targeting barkley. This is unconfirmed right now but someone on the inside has said its being talked about with the browns. Draft blown up .... if this happens we can deff cross off Nelson and Chubb falling to us and a trade back again would be best.

So...

 

It's basically a 1 and a 3 this year and a 1 and a 2 next year.

 

The 277th pick makes no sense because the draft is never longer than 256 picks.    7 rounds = 224 plus 32 comp picks equals 256 picks.      Either way,  it's a minor late pick.    

 

That's not going to entice Cleveland to drop from 1 to 20 this year.

 

I'd say if Detroit is serious,  the offer would be D.O.A.

Funny there is only 7 rounds in the NFL draft. So I call B S to this.
