Great adjustment in this second half. Finally forced some turnovers out of Cousins instead of letting him pass it out to wide open shooters. Let's see if we pull it out...

Another reason I don't want or like Cousins. Too many times he complains about calls and doesn't get back on defense. He also plays lazy at times. He's a big part of our comeback.

30 minutes of mush and then we closed with  a rush..

Stole one......trailed all night....we need to head to the airport before the authorities get there to investigate

1st of 7 games in 12 days....is this our time to move up in the East???

We have won 7 out of 8, that is Great stuff! Nice comeback tonight. 22-19 halfway through the season. I still think we are possibly the 2nd best team in the East only behind the LeBron's but Toronto and Boston look pretty good.

We are definitely not the 2nd best team. We are the fifth at best. We are still awful on the road and need to figure it out still. We better keep taking advantage of this easy schedule right now before we face the tough teams. February is going to be tough.

I don't know what we are yet..could be 2nd..could be 8th or 9th

....we have to accept that we are a new team with new players who have never played together

Look at tonight's top scorers.....  PG, Al Jefferson, Jeff Teague

..where were they last season...?

we are a new team

I think anyone in the East is beatable though except for the Cavs. Not sure where we stand? I did say possibly 2nd.

It's almost February. The "new team" excuse doesn't work anymore. If they don't know each other now we won't be making it far.

I was thinking about this yesterday, and figured we could and should draft OG Anunoby out of IU, even though we have PG13. Anunoby could be a big 2 guard (6'8", 235 lbs) because of his great athleticism. Move him to the 2 and his defensive prowess could basically remove the opponents SG from the game. He's got great bounce on the fast break and can hit from 3 when open. Thoughts?

If he didn't blow out his knee ?

My favorite dunk of the year so far from PG.

Also Al Jefferson played great last night. His best game of the season.

He and Bryant have had very unworthy years to be a lottery pick....The second Season on the Brink" someone said on the telecast.

Makes no difference what month this is or isn't..

..that's just the reality of basketball....Teams that have played together for years have an edge on teams that have played together for weeks.....

especially on defense......

That was a pathetic sequence before the timeout. PG and Teague lose the ball and just stand there as the Lakers go on a fast break. Myles makes the first guy miss but they get an easy offensive rebound because nobody got back. Then they turn it over again and allow another offensive rebound that leads to the three.

And they wonder why they don't win on the road...

There we go again....

.....12-0 run....sloppy passes..trying for easy baskets..

..and that disorganization defensively.....its who we are...sometimes

we need to get some bench in there....that should turn it around

They probably don't wonder why

    • They actually don’t want Allen to throw a lot either lol.  Allen is not that far removed from leading the league in turnovers for almost 2 years in a row despite his pretty stats.  That’s why they have a 1-2 punch at RB now.   Buffalo fans do indeed want Allen to run…when he needs to.  Colts fans do indeed want AR to run, because he’s a runner and Allen is not.  One CAN run, the other RUNS.  Tbh, most fans who have QBs that are runners (Lamar, Daniels, Hurts, etc.) they want them to run.
    • It amazes me how people can watch the games, have stats given to them, and somehow still find a way to make AR the problem lol.
    • the narrative of him not going full speed in college, or mismanaging his condition. he also had an attempted 1 handed in the end zone where he could've fought through on an aggressive two-handed catch but tried to style catch it. I'm more so echoing what I've read and seen, rather than claiming anything new.    few weeks ago he also pulled up on a catch that we all discussed in the gameday thread, but I don't remember which. there's definitely some things of note.
    • Red flags such as?   Pierce had plenty of bad drops his first two years.
    • I’m not worried really.  I think his production will improve over time.  A lot of our receivers are dropping balls and I don’t think it’s coincidental.  AR really throws a hot ball for the most part.  I  think he needs to learn how to throw better and the receivers will eventually improve on the catches.  AD seems to shy away from blocking down field which is worrisome though.
