Manning closing in on Favre's records

With his best performance of the year last night, Manning needs just 284 yards to break Brett Favre’s all-time mark. He needs one win to break Favre’s all-time record. Both sit at 186 victories.

 

Both records could fall at Indy next week. That is amazing. Good for Manning. Nice to see him slinging it again with confidence last night in a big spot.

Nice to see him put together a complete game last night. He was audibling well, throwing well, and getting points on the board. He didn't throw a td but man he looked thrilled! Clear he just wants to win games and play well for his fellow teammates. Its the longest of shots for him to go out with a championship but man it would be nice to put a smile on that face one last time. Lots of people work hard and deserve it but can't think of many that have given more of themselves than him. Could be a special treat for those that were willing to pay to for the Broncos/Colts tickets.

 

I hope he breaks the yardage mark and even though it would poetic for him to become the all-time winningest player in NFL history in Indy I can wait an additional week to see that lol. Love the guy...and hate when we play him...but maybe one of us can win it all.

I just don't think Peyton will get the yardage record vs Indy. I think the Broncos run more, for my FF team sake because I have Hillman and Anderson .

Wondering if we have these threads in a couple years when Tom is about to break Peyton's records or do we have to put an astrick next to his stats too? It just seems like a formality that Peyton will break them and that Tom will follow.

Tom will most likely catch him in wins. Doubtful he will catch him in yards or tds
