Nice job Reality! Our top 13 are exactly the same except I have White and Cooper switched on the Jets and Bears. Crazy how we are thinking alike here. I think that Collins will go to the Steelers as well and Peters would be a good pick for us. The big difference is that I have Randy Gregory going 31 to the Saints with their 2nd first round pick. I think he falls and teams are currently down on him after talking to him. The second round is very good and I would like Carl Davis a lot on our D-Line. Only name I see that is higher than I usually see is Xavier Cooper. Can you tell me why he has risen? I may put him in my mock in the 2nd or 3rd tomorrow if I take a liking to him to see how it works out. Nice job as usual. You always put a lot of work into your stuff and it's appreciated.

I've gotta ask. Why in the heck do you have Malcom Brown as the 35th player? That's extremely low compared to his talent level.

I would hope that Davis would fall that far. But wouldn't it make more sense for the Steelers to get Peters and for the Colts to get Collins? Ike Taylor just retired on the Steelers, and CB was a need even with him there. Now there's a huge hole.

Great top 64 though.

Jared that's crazy haha! Great minds think alike I guess!  . But onto Xavier Cooper, he is a underrated guy that people like Mayock, and Jerimaih like a lot. He's very quick, and athletic (293lb 4.86 40). He gets great jumps of the line, he's medicore against the run but a very disruptive, effective pass rusher. Would be a great 3-4 DE.

I just don't love him that much. I think he wouldn't fit a 3-4 which lowers my opinon on him a bit. He's a meh athlete and needs tons of work in his game against the run. He's also not very long, and only had 1 year of production.

That's what I was thinking, but Troy Polamalu also just retired. CB is probably a bigger need, but I just see Landon Collins as a great fit for PIT, and don't think Marcus Peters would be (Character concerns in players rarely tolerated.

I honestly thought the same thing when he announced his retirement, but Dustin was saying they have options in place already with Mike Mitchell and Shamarko Thomas. I don't think they have any type of depth at CB.

Plus Peters "character" issues would be tolerable because they have Leveon Bell who just got suspended for pot. Peters' character issues are all about him basically being a hard head, but that won't fly in the NFL. Veterans who have been in the league will keep his attitude in check. I honestly wouldn't mind him on the Colts for that reason either. But if not him, the Steelers should look at Kevin Johnson.

Whoa I feel like we aren't talking about the same player.

At Texas he played every line spot his versatility is one of the things that has him as a high pick. He was the anchor for the team in terms of defending the run... in fact most have no worries of his run defending at the next level but are questioning his rush skills! And I don't understand the one year thing. He played 3 years and 2 of those 3 years he had really bad players around him and a DC that couldn't organize a pop warner defense. If you watched him, he not only played consistent but improved every year. The only reason for the Stat jump was the change in coaching and the team around him improving.

Yup. Also Shazier is basically an ITB anyway.

I think he's a better fit as a 4-3 DT, don't see the natural fit at 3-4 DE, or NT. I have lots of worries with his technique against the run. His hand placement isn't nearly good enough to make that huge leap from Collage to the Pros. He would get slaughtered at the start and need some time to work on his technique. He only had 1 good year of production, I don't care about the stats. He wasn't a top talent before this last season and now he is. Never a great thing.

    • Trade him? He just handed him a nice extension.
    • Yes, thanks, you’re right. When the Panthers traded to get the 1 is when Ballard said he didn’t have all the information to make the trade. That’s strange to me.  “Didn’t want to make a blind decision without all the information,” Ballard told reporters Monday. “I know for people, they might not understand that. But I think history kind of tells you that when you do that, you better know what you’re getting. And we weren’t quite ready to do that at that time. And then we feel like there’s enough depth in the draft that we were gonna be okay.”   This was in late March. Ballard had a chance to get the 1 and use it to take Stroud not Young. I think it’s strange he said he didn’t move up to 1 because it would have been a “blind decision.” Why would it be a blind decision in March? Why wouldn’t you know what you’re getting? You’re getting whoever you want if you get the 1. It didn’t happen, but Ballard could have recognized that Stroud was going to be superior, could have made the trade and could have drafted him. Ballard admits it never occurred to him to attempt the trade because it would be a “blind decision.”
    • I cringed after seeing the way his leg bent underneath him to the point of him sitting down on it. Buckner is one tough dude and to see him needing help to get off the field is when I knew he was going to be out for a while.
    • He probably felt confident Bowers would still be on the board at 15 once he made it past NYJ at 11.  He could've been trading up with other teams to move up to get Brock Bowers, but unfortunately, the Raiders had their eyes set on him and took him at 13.
    • Not now...   Let the year play out. Maybe at the end of the season...
