Anyone see this? Houston injures himself after jumping up and down after sacking a back up QB in a blowout game.

He had to be carted off the field.

He sacked the back up QB.   NE didn't score anymore so it would have been 51-23.

This would have been unfortunate even if the score was flipped. The fact that it came while trailing by a bunch, against your opponent's backup QB, makes it just kind of sad.

I hate when players celebrate when they are loosing.. specially plays like that.. the worse is when the a player celebrates a td when their team is getting blow out

That was sooooooo ridiculous celebrating when down by 25.  Sorry to hear he tore his ACL.  Also, was he the Bear player that called out Chicago fans for booing a couple of weeks ago?

In all seriousness, it's never a good thing when someone gets injured. That being said, the guy is still a doofus for making a big deal of sacking a backup in a blowout.

 

In general I wish players would keep the (non TD) celebrations down until the game is over, but that's just me. The worst offenders are defenses after a good first or second down play. Players act like they just won the frickin' Superbowl, then get burned on third and long. It happens all the time, and it makes them look flat out stupid. Do your job, get off the field, then celebrate with your buddies.
