Pre-Season Game 2: things to watch for

I am proud to say I will be at MetLife to root on my hometown team, 13 rows from the field Might I add. With game 1 out of the way, What are some things you will be watching for in game 2?

Here's mine in no particular order:

1. Werner! How will he respond to first NFL game? Will he be bothered by injury?

2. Oline, Oline, Oline: will they improve from week one? Will they be better in pass protection ? (Run defense last week was decent)

3. Will DHB make his presence known? Hold on to the ball?

4. With starters possibly playing first half, who will stand out defensively? Can we create a pass rush and will rush D improve?

5. Can our special teams improve on kickoffs?

What are some things you will be looking for?

special teams will be effected if Joe Lefeg and Sergio Brown play they are our gunners .... IMO..

This game will give us a pretty good indication of where our O line is.  The Giants have a very talented D line so this is a good matchup to learn how much we have improved.

I don't see why everyone is bashing the offensive line I think they played well last week.

Excited for Werner. Time to see what this kid has.

This game will give us a pretty good indication of where our O line is.  The Giants have a very talented D line so this is a good matchup to learn how much we have improved.

I honestly dont think it will give us that big of an eye opener as to how good our O Line is, we know who stinks, we know who was drafted/picked up to replace them. Its only a matter of time.......1 years time assuming Thornton and Holmes are 100 percent at some point

We have blocked pretty well in this game.  That line we had last year certainly wouldnt have done this.  I think we are improved, not dominant yet but improvement can be seen.

Our run blocking has sucked, let's not sugarcoat it and a few times luck got some heavy pressure where he had to run around.
