Ravens takes out Tampa Punter Not Flagged ?

How was there not a flag on this play? They counted it as a TD, but the announcers did not even say much about it. Did they change the rule or am I missing something?

If the D touches the ball the kicker if fair game.

I didn't see the play but if it was blocked back into the endzone then whatever happens to the kicker is incidental.

ok Tx  jmac... they did block the ball in the end zone and the ravens recovered it... at the same time they took out the punter... that would explain why no one mentioned it...    I thought they had become non touchable much like the QB's... good to know... have a great weekend

Jmac is correct. It's only a penalty if the ball isn't touched first.

Yeah, that's really for any situation.  If the ball is touched in any situation, everything except for holding, tripping, and face mask is fair game.  That's why when you see the ball get tipped in the air the receiver usually gets whacked.
