Need 8 users for 3 round mock draft on Colts draft forum

I have done this with other forum users in the past, so I thought I'd do this again.

 

I need 8 forum users to participate in a 3 round mock draft. Each user will be assigned 4 teams, assigned based on this forumula, line up the 8 users' forum ids (like Blackhawk, chad72 etc.) alphabetically. Then, go down the list of teams in alphabetical order and assign 4 teams in sequence. Till we know the list of finalized forum names participating, we wont know the final assignments, it is simple yet not pre-defined.

 

I would like to do round 1 and round 2 today evening starting at 8 P.M. ET and going till midnight probably (March 8th, 2013), round 3 tomorrow morning (March 9th, 2013) at 10 a.m. ET.  going till 12 noon probably.

 

Please sign up only if you would be available during these time slots. If you are available for most of the time frame and will miss just a few minutes here and there, that is fine, you can PM me your picks in order of priority (a handful should mostly do). Also, if someone can be co-owner of this mock draft with me to help me out should I want to take a break for a few minutes, that would be appreciated.

If you don't manage to get the full 8 people, I'd be more than willing to take on extra teams if need be.

 

Yeah, I'd like to get 4 teams at least so that it is manageable for participants. Sometimes, lesser number of forum users makes things go faster. Just wanted to extend it to more users however for a start since that has been a common request in the past.

That is fine. If you want to PM your picks for round 2 in order of priority, you can still do round 1 if you want??? Let me keep your name in the waiting list (wink :)) should you change your mind later. For now, it is back to 2.

I could PM you my teams with options for draft picks in order of rank. Could do like an "auto-draft" based on that? If so...put me back in.

Yes, once we decide the teams after finalizing the users, you can do that. I will put your name back in then.

small suggestion..FA is about to begin, why dont we wait till FA stops? might be a more real Draft that way

 

 

We can do another one later. We have time to kill before the real draft  which is past mid April :).

 

I will do one on March 29, 2013 and March 30, 2013 again, 3 weeks later when a lot of dust would have settled.

 

Then, after that, I will do a Colts draft contest about 15 days prior to the actual draft.

Man I'd definitely love to be in this, but I'm busy tonight

 

Just do what i'm gonna do. Take your 4 teams...pick out about 10 guys for each team in rounds 1 and two that you believe will be there for them/good fit for them in priority order and PM them to chad72.

Will do - will close taking names at 7 p.m. ET and send everyone that has signed up till then a PM for a reminder that the draft will take place at 8 p.m. ET.
