The Colts win over the Vikings

So far this year the Colts are the only team to beat the Vikings.

Vikings have wins over two playoff teams from last year in the 49ers and Lions.

Just wanted to add a positive perspective to our only win yet from this season. Winning isn't easy no matter how good you think a team is now or how good they were the year before.

Yep the Vikings win is looking better and better. However, I don't think the Lions are what people thought they were coming into this season. They have issues and frankly they look like a very immature football team that might have listened to their own hype coming into the season. The 49ers though are the real deal.

Every season since 2002 someone has gone from last to first in a division in one offseason. If it happens again this year imagine if it was the Vikings? lol.

I know but thats why the worst to first (if it happens again this year who knows) is a suprise. :)

Still wouldn't bet on the Vikings but stranger things have happened...

Honestly when I looked at the 8 last place teams from last year I am not sure if there will be one but if I had to rank them in the order of the teams most likly to do it I would go like this.

1. KC

2. Redskins

3. Vikings

4. Colts

5. Bucs

6. Rams

7. BIlls

8. Browns

Frankly I think there is an outside shot for the top three but it would be a major surprise. I think there is zero chance it happens for teams 4 threw 8.

Oh I wouldn't either lol. But, with the last place teams you would not really bet on any. Thats why we all sucked last year. :)

Megatron has that Madden curse killing him. If he doesn't shake it, Detroit isn't doing anything this year.

I was thinking about that too. Who would have believed that the Vikings would beat the Lions this year...the football world is strange this year.

The Lions dont look like a playoff team. They're quickly becoming the new Cowboys. A lot of talent going nowhere.

I cant say I'm sold on the Vikings either. I think the 49ers win was a fluke. They just didnt look like themselves. The 49ers that beat the jets easily today would have won last week. I think the 49ers just overlooked the Vikings and ended up getting sucker punched by a mediocre team.

We should have been 2-1 as well.

    • Hey Everyone,   So, I just caught wind of Goodson's apology letter after dropping that short pass from Minshew against the Texans last season. Here's my humorous take on the situation:   "Dear Fans, Coaches, Teammates, and Supporters,   I'm writing to apologize for buttering up that short pass in the most critical moment against the Texans. Look, I know I'm the backup running back, but hey, I'm usually good for catching those short throws - emphasis on 'usually'. My bad for turning a routine play into a blooper reel moment.   To my teammates, sorry for making you wonder if I was secretly playing for the other team. Next time, I'll practice catching more than just footballs thrown by the water boy.   To the coaches, maybe let's reconsider throwing short passes to guys who have hands that are more slippery than a greased pig at the county fair. Just a suggestion.   And to the fans, thanks for turning my drop into a meme. I promise to work on my catching skills so I can make highlights, not lowlights, next season.   Sincerely, Goodson (aka the running back who should stick to running)"   Okay, maybe I exaggerated a bit, but you get the gist. Let's hope Goodson has been hitting those catching drills hard this offseason!
    • I remember looking for highlights of TJ after we drafted him.  I kept finding videos of him following OJ Howard into the endzone.  Not sure if Howard was his responsibility, but it didn't paint a promising picture.
    • Ballard,   So, yeah, about that whole "bust" thing—I guess the cat's out of the bag. Turns out, I'm more of a popcorn fart than a thunderclap. My bad.   When you drafted me, I thought I was gonna be the Colts' next big thing. You know, sacking quarterbacks, making highlight reels, maybe even getting my face on a cereal box someday. But instead, I've been about as useful as a screen door on a submarine.   I've watched the tapes, Coach. I've seen the memes. They're comparing my NFL career to a hangover—starts off with high hopes, and ends with regret and a lot of Gatorade. And honestly, I get it. I'm like that guest who shows up to a party uninvited and ends up eating all the chips.   So, here's my mea culpa. I apologize for not living up to the hype. For every missed tackle, every missed sack, and that one time I accidentally tackled our own quarterback in practice (sorry, Philip). I'm like the guy who brings a guitar to a party and insists on playing Wonderwall—I'm annoying and not nearly as good as I think I am.   But hey, I'm not giving up. I'm hitting the gym, studying film (mostly bloopers at this point), and practicing my touchdown dance for when pigs finally fly. I promise to work harder and maybe, just maybe, I'll redeem myself and earn my place in the Hall of Mediocrity.   Thanks for believing in me, and letting me live my dream for 4 years straight whilst simultaneously producing nothing for your team. I'll make you proud yet, even if it's just by being the team's MVP of Bust Central, and we aren't talking bronze heads.    Sincerely, Ben "The Bust" Banagous (Not sponsored by Gatorade yet, but a guy can dream)
    • if you scream MODS! in anything I write,  I might get in trouble. hahaha
    • MODS!  This should be enough to force you to bring back the laughing emoji option!   Funny stuff!
